Exploring my city of Da Nang, Vietnam, my friend and I recently discovered a delightful new coffee shop called Kashi Garden Coffee. Tucked alongside the riverbank, this cozy cafe is easy to miss but a wonderful spot for whiling away a morning over coffee, conversation, and river views.

I wouldn't choose Kashi Garden Coffee if I needed to hunker down and work on my laptop all day. With limited seating and decor more "lived-in vintage" than "sleek workspace," this is a cafe best enjoyed leisurely with friends. The vibe inside is like hanging out in someone's stylishly front yard.

Walking in, you'll find a smattering of small tables and an eclectic mix of wooden furniture. Kashi Garden Coffee is all about the charm factor. Outside, the shaded patio overlooks the riverside , a nice perch for river watching. Upstairs, is locked off, but I think it may be the owner's apartment?

My friend and I settled in outside with a coconut coffee for me and a ca phe sua da - iced coffee with condensed milk - for her. The drinks were high quality and carefully prepared as we chatted away the morning.

For snacks, Cashie offers a small selection of packed pastries and the like. But the real draw here is the laidback ambiance. Gentle music floats through the garden as patrons laugh and have conversations.

While Kashi Garden Coffee doesn't have ample room to spread out with laptops, that's not its charm. I'd rate the cozy vibe a 4/5 stars. Come here to sip coffee and unwind, not power through your inbox.

The very nice and helpful staff and wooden decor made for a memorable experience. It was a place to simply exist, observe details like upsidedown umbrellas, and exchange ideas with a friend. We left after a couple hours feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Sometimes you need a coffee spot where you can let your mind meander at its own pace, no rush or pressure. Kashi Garden Coffee's comfortably atmosphere encourages that. I'll might be back to enjoy the indoor garden patio or that overlooking the riverwalk again.
