Pot holder of chick 🐤//Agarra olla de pollito 🐤 [ENG-ESP]

Hello my beautiful #Needleworkmonday community, taking advantage of a brief break in my work and study for a holiday, I stopped by and saw this #NeedleworkYourKitchenContest, and I was encouraged to participate with a decorative pot holder, which is about a cute little chick 🐥.

Hola mi bella comunidad de #Needleworkmonday, aprovechando un breve lapso de descanso en mi trabajo y estudio por un día feriado, pase por acá y vi este concurso #NeedleworkYourKitchenContest y me animé a participar con un agarra olla decorativa, el cual trata de un tierno pollito 🐥.

The materials I used are very inexpensive, of course as long as they are bought in bulk, I used pablum yarn in colors that in my mind combined very well (yellow, lighter yellow, orange, black for the eye, white and red), and more when I saw it in the process. At first I was going to use the 3.0 needle, but the stitches were too loose, so I used the 2.5 needle, although for the white yarn I did use the 3.0 needle, since it was a thicker yarn.

Los materiales que usé son muy económicos, claro siempre y cuando se compren al mayor, utilicé hilo pábilo de colores que en mi mente combinaron muy bien (amarillo, amarillo más claro, naranja, negro para el ojito, blanco y rojo), y más cuando lo vi en el proceso. Al principio iba a usar la aguja 3.0, pero los puntos me quedaban muy sueltos, por lo que usé la aguja 2.5, aunque para el hilo de color blanco sí usé la aguja 3.0, ya que era un hilo más grueso.

I made the body with yellow wick yarn with 17 loops in half stitch, giving the shape of this bird, the beak, the “hair” of the head and the wing were with yellow wick yarn, but a little darker than the body, and the legs were made in orange. The bottom one is a simple white granny square with 8 loops with high stitches and two red loops, where I made the handle to be able to hang it in the kitchen. I'm very sad to use it, it was too pretty to stain it when using it 😅.

El cuerpo lo realicé con hilo pabilo color amarillo de 17 vueltas en medio punto, dando la forma de esta ave, el pico, el “pelo” de la cabeza y el ala fue con un hilo pabilo color amarillo, pero un poco más oscuro que el del cuerpo, y las patas las hice de color anaranjado. El de fondo es un granny square sencillo de color blanco con 8 vueltas con puntos altos y dos vueltas de color rojo, donde hice el asa para poder colgarlo en la cocina. Me da mucha pena usarlo, quedó muy bonito para mancharlo al usarlo 😅.

When I saw this project I fell in love with it so much that I immediately looked for the material and started it, it took me about 4 hours to finish it.
