Mi experiencia en la Filven 2024 (Feria Internacional del Libro de Venezuela) - SPA / ENG -
¡Hola, mis queridos amigos lectores! Espero estén muy bien. Después de tantos días de ausencia estoy muy feliz de estar nuevamente por aquí para compartir con ustedes mi experiencia visitando la Feria Internacional del Libro de Venezuela (FILVEN) la cual está increíble y esta vez estuve de suerte de que tuvo sede nuevamente cerca de mi casa.
Hello, my dear reading friends! I hope you are very well. After so many days of absence, I'm very happy to be here again to share with you my experience visiting the Venezuela International Book Fair (FILVEN), which is incredible and this time I was lucky that it was again located near my house.
Esta vez la feria tuvo lugar en la Galería de Arte Nacional, y aunque no estuvo tan amplia como en años anteriores me gustó mucho la variedad que encontré de libros los cuales tenía tiempo sin ver. Afuera habían stands de editoriales que no conocía y de librerías con bastante variedad. Me encantó ver libros de autores que me gustan mucho como Joana Marcús, Inma Rubiales, Alice Kellen y mi hermosa paisana Darlis Stefany de las cuales tengo tiempo sin leer. En otros stands pude ver variedad de libros de mis autores favoritos Stephen King, Jojo Moyes, Paulo Coelho y Colleen Hoover.
This time the fair took place at the National Art Gallery, and although it was not as extensive as in previous years, I really liked the variety I found of books which I had not seen for a long time. Outside there were stands from publishers I didn't know and bookstores with quite a variety. I loved seeing books by authors that I really like like Joana Marcús, Inma Rubiales, Alice Kellen and my beautiful countrywoman Darlis Stefany, of whom I haven't read for a long time. At other stands I could see a variety of books by my favorite authors Stephen King, Jojo Moyes, Paulo Coelho and Colleen Hoover.
Como esta es una feria internacional, me encantó ver stands de muchos paises como México, Cuba, Egipto, Irán, Honduras, entre otros. Me gustó mucho el haber podido conocer un poco más de la literatura de esos países y reconozco que varios de sus libros me llamaron la atención. Entre tantas cosas que vi también me gustó mucho un stand que vendía mangas, ya que tenía varias de mi agrado como por ejemplo Dragon Ball, también vi libros que me traen muchos recuerdos ya que tuve la oportunidad de disfrutarlos en físico sin embargo, los regalé hace poco y reconozco que me dieron muchas ganas de llevarme varios sin embargo, como estoy por irme del país y no tengo planeado aumentar mi colección, tuve que contenerme a comprar algo.
As this is an international fair, I loved seeing stands from many countries such as Mexico, Cuba, Egypt, Iran, Honduras, among others. I really liked having been able to learn a little more about the literature of those countries and I admit that several of his books caught my attention. Among so many things I saw, I also really liked a stand that sold mangas, because it had several that I liked, such as Dragon Ball, for example, I also saw books that bring back many memories because I had the opportunity to enjoy them physically, however, I gave them away recently and I admit that I really wanted to take several; however, because I'm about to leave the country and I have no plans to increase my collection, I had to restrain myself from buying something.
Siempre me emociona este evento porque me da la oportunidad de adentrarme más en la lectura, la cual es uno de mis pasatiempos favoritos y también de conocer otras culturas a través de los libros que puedo encontrar. Me sorprendió mucho que la pusieran en este mes ya que desde hace 2 años que he tenido la oportunidad de ir, ha sido puesta entre Octubre y Noviembre, pero realmente me gustó haberla podido disfrutar el dia de hoy, y también me encantó haberla podido disfrutar en buena compañía de un gran amigo. Antes de irnos él y yo entramos a la Galería y pudimos ver algunas exposiciones sin embargo, no pude tomar muchas fotos debido a las conferencias que habían a las cuales no tuve acceso. De verdad que me encantó haber podido disfrutar esta experiencia, y realmente ha sido un inmenso placer compartirla con todos ustedes.
I'm always excited about this event because it gives me the opportunity to delve deeper into reading, which is one of my favorite pastimes, and also to learn about other cultures through the books I can find. I was very surprised that they put it on this month because I have had the opportunity to go for 2 years, it has been put on between October and November, but I really liked having been able to enjoy it today, and I also loved having been able to enjoy it in good company with a great friend. Before leaving, he and I went into the Gallery and were able to see some exhibitions, however, I couldn't take many photos due to the conferences that were going on that I didn't have access to. I truly loved having been able to enjoy this experience, and it has truly been an immense pleasure to share it with all of you.
