Introducing my CD Collection by Nelly Furtado -ENG / SPA-
Hello dear internet friends! I hope you are very well, today it is a great pleasure to share with you another of my musical collections, whose author is Nelly Furtado, who is one of my favorite singers since I was little, it's not complete yet because I am missing her latest album, however I hope to order it very soon. I hope you like it.
¡Hola queridos amigos de internet! Espero estén muy bien, hoy es un gran placer compartir con ustedes otra de mis colecciones musicales, cuya autora es Nelly Furtado, la cual es una de mis cantantes favoritas desde que era pequeña, no está completa todavía porque me falta su último disco sin embargo, espero encargarlo muy pronto. Espero les guste.
Whoa, Nelly!
It's Nelly's debut album, which was released in 2000 through DreamWorks Records, it is one of the first albums I bought when I started my collection and one of my favorites from when I was a child. I really like the design of the album, the photoshoot and Nelly's image for the album, my favorite songs on the album are "...On The Radio" and "I'm Like A Bird".
Es el álbum debut de Nelly, el cual fue lanzado en el año 2000 a través de DreamWorks Records, es uno de los primeros discos que compré cuando empecé mi colección y uno de mis favoritos de cuando era niña. Me gusta mucho el diseño del disco, el photoshoot y la imagen de Nelly para el disco, mis canciones favoritas del álbum son "...On The Radio" y "I'm Like A Bird".
Folklore
It's Nelly's second album which was released in 2003 through DreamWorks Records, although I didn't like it as much as the first one, I think it's an album with a very nice design and my favorite songs are "Powerless", "Try" and "Força".
Es el segundo álbum de Nelly el cual fué lanzado en el 2003 a través de DreamWorks Records, aunque no me gustó tanto como el primero me parece un disco con un diseño muy bonito y mis canciones favoritas son "Powerless", "Try" y "Força".
"Loose" is Nelly's third album which was released in 2006 through Geffen Records, and it is my favorite of all, I really like the design of the album which is quite colorful and Nelly's photographs for the album are very beautiful, many songs I like very much but my favorites are: "Maneater", "Promiscuous", "Say It Right", "No Hay Igual", "In God's Hands" which also has a Spanish version and "Te Busqué" as a duet with Juanes. From this album I bought a simple version on Amazon and an extended edition with 2 CDs in a store in my country.
"Loose" es el tercer álbum de Nelly el cual fué lanzado en el 2006 a través de Geffen Records, y es mi favorito de todos, me gusta mucho el diseño del disco el cual es bastante colorido y las fotografías de Nelly para el disco son muy hermosas, muchas canciones me gustan mucho pero mis favoritas son: "Maneater" "Promiscuous", "Say It Right", "No Hay Igual", "In God's Hands" la cual también tiene versión en español y "Te Busqué" a dúo con Juanes. De este álbum compré una versión sencilla en Amazon y una edición extendida con 2 CDs en una tienda de mi pais.
Mi Plan
It's Nelly's fourth album and also her debut entirely in Spanish, released in 2009 independently through her label Nelstar Records. It's another of her albums that I really like a lot, and I really appreciate her effort to sing in this language. I really like the design of the album and the color palette used, also my favorite songs are "Manos Al Aire", "Bajo Otra Luz", "Más" and "Sueños" in duet with Alejandro Fernandez.
Es el cuarto álbum de Nelly y también su debut totalmente en español, lanzado en el 2009 de manera independiente a través de su disquera Nelstar Records. Es otro de sus álbumes que en verdad me gusta mucho, y valoro mucho su esfuerzo para cantar en este idioma. Me gusta mucho el diseño del disco y la paleta de colores utilizada, también mis canciones favoritas son "Manos Al Aire", "Bajo Otra Luz", "Más" y "Sueños" a dúo con Alejandro Fernandez.
The Best Of Nelly Furtado
It is Nelly's first compilation album, also released in 2010 through Geffen Records. Contains several of her biggest hits such as "I'm Like A Bird", "Turn Off The Lights", "Try", "Maneater", "Say It Right" and "Manos Al Aire" plus 3 previously unreleased songs . The album art is very nice and contains mostly pictures from the Loose album era. It's a very good record.
Es el primer álbum recopilatorio de Nelly, también lanzado en el 2010 a través de Geffen Records. Contiene varios de sus más grandes éxitos como "I'm Like A Bird", "Turn Off The Lights", "Try", "Maneater", "Say It Right" y "Manos Al Aire" además de 3 canciones inéditas. El arte del álbum es muy bonito y contiene fotografías en su mayoría de la era del álbum Loose. Es un disco muy bueno.
The Spirit Indestructible
It's Nelly's fifth album, released in 2012 through Interscope Records. I confess that it is the album that I like the least from Nelly, however it has some very good songs like "Spirit Indestructible" and "Waiting for the Night", also the design of the album art although it is minimalist, it is quite beautiful and has good photos of Nelly. It's the last record I've bought from Nelly to date as I haven't had a chance to get the last one yet.
Es el quinto álbum de Nelly, lanzado en el 2012 a través de Interscope Records. Confieso que es el álbum que menos me gusta de Nelly, sin embargo tiene algunas canciones muy buenas como "Spirit Indestructible" y "Waiting for the Night", también el diseño del arte del álbum aunque es minimalista, es bastante bonito y tiene buenas fotos de Nelly. Es el último disco que he comprado de Nelly hasta la fecha ya que no he tenido la oportunidad de conseguir el último todavía.

¿Sabes? Te cuento una anécdota (bien cortita). Cuando era chico (por allá, por mediado de los 2000's) siempre tuve un crush con esta chica. Raro, para ser honesto... Porque jamás me gustaron las mujeres tan delgadas. Es más, aún es así. Pero Nelly Furtado, su actitud y sobre todo esos ojazos verdes, me mataron. Qué lindo recuerdo me desbloqueaste con tu post.
