A Summer Birthday Picnic Celebration in France
Hi, Foodies Beehive! For today's blog, let me share with you the food we shared at last summer's birthday picnic celebration here in France. Perfect timing that we had good weather so we gathered outside the house.
FYI, I really don't cook so much here in France. This was not my birthday so I was there to enjoy the food and eat.
For the salad, we have tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, carrots, cooked green beans, potatoes with mayonnaise and parsley. As you can see the green big bowl, it's a rice salad with tomato, apple, and corn mixed with vinegarette and onion.
For the meat, there is roasted chicken and sausages.
I remember this chicken sprinkled with curry powder.
Sausages, yum!
Just looking at this photo with the food on the table is making me hungry right now. I remember that time when I wanted to eat more but my baby girl was breastfeeding and fell asleep. So, I never got the chance to eat more. I wanted to cry. I was really hungry. Poor breastfeeding mama.
You can't see my face in these photos because I never participated to cook but just eating. Hahaha!
And the kids were crazy craving my attention. I just wanted to sit down and eat.
The salad was great, especially the sauce my husband made.
This beautiful orange rose is wonderful.
I stand corrected, two chickens got roasted. Hahah!
The picnic outdoor setup in the garden. You can see the hydrangeas or hortensias behind the griller.
Hmm, I can smell this photo. I remember it really smelled so good and now I am hungry. Hahaha!
Okay, enough, enough! I need to finish this blog because I need to go to the kitchen and find some food. Huhuhu!

Looking at the side dishes and there's tomato, I know for sure that's gonna be appetizing, love tomatoes hehe. I think I'm gonna buy them tomorrow, craved when I read your blog. XD
