Hello Alien Art Hive Community!!
I hope all of you're doing well and enjoying in the realm of aliens 👽. I enjoyed sharing my first blog in this community last week and I am thrilled to share my latest art work today.
Let me tell you I'm a beginner in digital art and learning by practicing after watching some YouTube videoes. I used to share pencil artwork on Hive Platform but now I'm thrilled to see how much I have improved my new skill.
Meet my monster friend "Thanalorian Scion" from Splinterlands Cards. She is water monster and beauty with brain.
I have shared her Pencil Artwork earlier but yesterday I decided to convert it into digital piece. I imported the sketch on Ibis Paint screen as second layer. You have noticed me highlighting after completing sketch in Pencil Artwork and Digital Art.
But this time I wanna vibe like pro artist :)
I started from top as always and draw the long hair of Thanalorian Scion. I tried different kinda hair brushes to draw hair. I keep adjusting the consistency and thickness of the hair waves.
In this step I completed the facial organs i.e nose, lips, eyes, eyebrows and ear. I was still confused for choosing skin color but I guess this time it looks better.
Have you found the shar chin and nose of female attractive?
I'm sorry but I had crush on Thanalorian Scion.
In this step, I painted the royal dress of Thanalorian Scion. I feel like she is a Goddess of Water referred in Kdrama "Lord Of Water". I watched this drama recently :)
She has control over the tides and flow of water. She is best to play against fire monster as Flame Mephit.
I don't play Splinterlands but I know about the cards and their abilities.
Actually I dig deeper the character before drawing it.
You can see I'm done and as a beginner the results are impressive for me. I tried making a background of the character but it was already 12 O'clock yesterday. It took me 2 hours to complete the character and I wanted to finish it as early possible.
I added lighting sparks and grey color for the background. My intention was to draw water stream and starry sky and night.
But let's save the plans for the next week.
This journey of storytelling, sharing artwork and practicing new skills is not over yet. Your encouragement, suggestions and support is my treasure in this journey.
This artwork is my submission to Splinterlands Art Contest Week 324.
That's all for today's blog!
