Cómo están amigos de Geek Zone como de costumbre estoy por aquí otra vez , para compartirles una nueva historia de El Club Romántico, un juego de historias interactivas que ya antes reseñé y que me gustó bastante. Anteriormente les compartí una historia llamada Kali: la llamada de la oscuridad, una historia policiaca de terror que se desarrolla en la India en la que valoré aspectos como las referencias culturales e históricas, así como una buena trama. Y pues como aquella fue una grata experiencia, hoy les traigo otra historia que lleva por nombre Sobre Hielo Fino.

How are you friends of Geek Zone as usual I'm here again, to share with you a new story of The Romantic Club, an interactive story game that I reviewed before and that I liked quite a lot. Previously I shared with you a story called Kali: the call of darkness, a horror crime story set in India in which I valued aspects such as cultural and historical references, as well as a good plot. And since that was a pleasant experience, today I bring you another story called Sobre Hielo Fino (On Thin Ice).

Aunque ya antes reseñé los aspectos técnicos del juego, quiero recalcar una vez más, que este juego nos ofrece historias de todo género, unas más románticas que otras, sus gráficos son en 2D y tiene sutiles animaciones en el entorno pero no son abundantes ni muy notorios, aun asi, la música y las imágenes bien elaboradas, nos ayudan a sumergirnos en las historias que por sí solas son muy buenas.

Although I already reviewed the technical aspects of the game, I want to emphasize once again that this game offers stories of all genres, some more romantic than others, its graphics are in 2D and has subtle animations in the environment but they are not abundant or very noticeable, even so, the music and well-crafted images, help us to immerse ourselves in the stories that by themselves are very good.

Ahora bien, esta historia llamada Sobre Hielo Fino, es algo trágica, y nos da mucho que pensar y reflexionar. Nuestro personaje es una chica llamada Catalina, apasionada por el patinaje sobre hielo, se convirtió en una profesional, tal como su madre alguna vez lo soñó, lamentablemente un día , nuestra protagonista se enteró de que su madre tenía cáncer, su padre cuando se enteró, cobardemente abandonó a su madre, dejándola sola con su enfermedad y sin recursos para un tratamiento. Por lo tanto Catalina se hizo cargo de la parte económica utilizando su gran talento como patinadora para generar ingresos y costear el tratamiento.

Now, this story called On Thin Ice, is somewhat tragic, and gives us much food for thought and reflection. Our character is a girl named Catalina, passionate about ice skating, she became a professional, just as her mother once dreamed, unfortunately one day, our protagonist learned that her mother had cancer, her father when he found out, cowardly abandoned her mother, leaving her alone with her illness and without resources for treatment. Therefore Catalina took charge of the economic part using her great talent as a skater to generate income and pay for the treatment.

Un día Catalina se encontraba en un concurso de patinaje, y su compañero de patinaje no la agarró en una pirueta y y cayeron al suelo, catalina se había lesionado gravemente y tal vez nunca podría volver a patinar de manera profesional. Ahora se encontraba en un hospital inhabilitada para patinar y sin poder generar recursos para costear el tratamiento de su madre. Tiempo después su madre falleció a causa de su enfermedad.

One day Catalina was in a skating contest, and her skating partner failed to catch her in a pirouette and they fell to the ground. Catalina was seriously injured and may never be able to skate professionally again. She was now in a hospital unable to skate and unable to generate enough money to pay for her mother's treatment. Some time later, her mother passed away due to her illness.

Posiblemente Catalina nunca se recuperó por la muerte de su madre, no es que se sintiese culpable, pero se preguntaba porque las cosas habían tenido que ser así, si no hubiese tenido aquel accidente probablemente su madre seguiría con vida.

It is not that she felt guilty, but she wondered why things had to be this way, if she had not had that accident, her mother would probably still be alive.

Catalina dispuesta a ir al psicólogo a petición de su madre antes de fallecer, pues creía que no lograría superar su muerte, decidió ir, pero fuera de la institución médica, se consigue a un hombre que había visto horas antes y la había mirado con cierto interés, conversaron sobre las circunstancias que hicieron que se encontraran, y una chispa entre ellos surgió y se permitieron hablar de sus vidas y sus más profundos sentimientos. Ambos personajes con una vida un poco catastrófica, pero parecen entenderse muy bien para apoyarse mutuamente y contar cosas que no se les cuenta a cualquier persona.

Catalina, willing to go to a psychologist at the request of her mother before she passed away, because she believed that she would not be able to overcome her death, decided to go, but outside the medical institution, she meets a man she had seen hours before and had looked at her with some interest, they talked about the circumstances that made them meet, and a spark between them arose and they allowed themselves to talk about their lives and their deepest feelings. Both characters with somewhat catastrophic lives, but they seem to understand each other very well to support each other and tell things that you don't tell just anyone.

Pero no todo se basa en los recuerdos, Catalina tiene un conflicto con un hombre con quien al parecer tiene deudas pendientes, ¿cuáles son estas deudas? , ese es uno de los misterios que rodena esta historia y que pronto descubriremos.

But not everything is based on memories, Catalina has a conflict with a man with whom she apparently has outstanding debts, what are these debts? That is one of the mysteries that surrounds this story and that we will soon discover.

Para concluir, me ha parecido que la historia, es trágicamente conmovedora, de verdad sentí lastima por Catalina e imaginé situaciones que suceden así en la vida real, quienes pierden la batalla contra el cáncer, aquellos que son abandonados por tener una enfermedad en un acto de cobardía y un corazón vacío y como las cosas pueden cambiar de un momento a otro. Sin previo aviso.

To conclude, I found the story tragically moving, I really felt sorry for Catalina and I imagined situations that happen in real life, those who lose the battle against cancer, those who are abandoned for having a disease in an act of cowardice and an empty heart and how things can change from one moment to another. Without warning.

De igual forma es interesante ver como cada persona tiene problemas distintos y muchas llevan heridas y cicatrices que no terminan de sanar. Esta es unja historia mucho más romántica que la que jugué anteriormente. Debo admitir que me gustó mucho más la otra, pero esta está bastante bien. Si tienen tiempo disponible espero puedan ver mi gameplay, sé que es bastante largo, pero si conectan con la historia lo disfrutarán.

It is also interesting to see how each person has different problems and many carry wounds and scars that never heal. This is a much more romantic story than the one I played before. I must admit that I liked the other one much better, but this one is pretty good.
