The Development of Vegetables in My Hydroponic Garden - My Weekly Journal Hydroponics

How are you today ? I hope and pray, we are all always given health and also happiness in living this life. I am very happy, finally given the time and opportunity to participate again in the Hive Garden Community. A community for me to share stories about my stories and activities in my hydroponic garden.
It's been almost two weeks, I don't update about my gardening activities in my hydroponic garden. For almost two weeks. I have continue to do my gardening activities as usual, but I have also been very busy. I get many orders for hydroponic installations, and also provide hydroponic training to the community.
For the past few days, the weather in my city has been experiencing changes. From morning until noon, the sun shines and feels very hot on our skin. However, in the afternoon, rain and wind started to fall and made the weather wet and had the potential to cause flooding. Transition is the biggest challenge for farming in tropical countries like Indonesia, but that is no reason for us to be lazy. So, I invite you to see the condition of the vegetables in my hydroponic garden.
Conditions of Lettuce in My Hydroponic Garden
First, I invited you to see the condition of the lettuce that I grow in my hydroponic garden. Lettuce is one of the favorite vegetables of many people in the world and also me too. Usually, lettuce is consumed directly as a salad or used as a vegetable accompaniment to several dishes. In Indonesia, every dish such as fried chicken or fried fish is accompanied by lettuce and cucumber as accompaniments.
I grow a lot of lettuce in my hydroponic garden and all the lettuce I plant has reached the age to be harvested. My lettuce is about 40 days old after sowing.
The conditions for this lettuce grow very well and optimally, I use a hydroponic liquid fertilizer with a concentration of around 600-800 ppm or according to the standard nutritional requirements used for lettuce.
This week, I have also harvested about 15 kilograms of my lettuce. Each pot of lettuce that I harvest weighs around 70-85 grams. Planting lettuce is very profitable for me and maybe for other farmers. Lettuce is a vegetable that has good harvest weight, uniform and optimal growth, and most importantly, lettuce is rarely attacked by pests.
Condition of Pakcoy in My Hydroponic Garden
Next, I invite you to see the condition of the bok choy that I planted in my hydroponic garden. Pakcoy is one of the vegetables that is a favorite of hydroponic farmers. Pakcoy is very easy to grow both conventionally and in the hydroponic system, besides that this vegetable is also very easy to process into delicious dishes.
In this planting period, I only planted around 150 pots of pak choy in my hydroponic garden. The condition of the packoy in my hydroponic garden is not very good, but it is still in good condition. I use hydroponic liquid fertilizer with a concentration of around 1000-1200 ppm during this planting period. I really hope that this pak choy can grow well and optimally in the future.
Mint Leaves Condition in My Hydroponic Garden
Lastly, I invite you to see the condition of the mint leaves that I plant in my hydroponic garden. As you know, mint leaves are one of the plants that I grow in my hydroponic garden. Since I started gardening activities with a hydroponic system. Mint leaves are always available in my hydroponic garden.
This week, all the mint leaves in my hydroponic installation grew very well and optimally. We can see it from the condition of the leaves which look fresh, green and emit a distinctive and very strong aroma. This is because I take good care of these mint leaves. I also apply hydroponic fertilizer at the right dose for my plants.
During this planting period, I also harvested this mint. I get about 250 grams of mint leaves every three days this week. Mint is also a very profitable plant. I can sell every 250 grams of mint leaves for IDR 60K (4 USD).

Your observations are very good, one of the advantages of the hydroponic farming system is that the vegetables will always look fresh and beautiful. Planting systems that utilize water as a growing medium seem to optimize the freshness potential of each vegetable.
