Don't Order Matcha at a Coffee Shop
It is clear from the title above, I describe this article as a manifestation of my experience several times in coffee shops. I think I've always wanted to know why there isn't a delicious matcha latte in a coffee shop. like my experience this time, in a coffee shop that looked very famous in the middle of the city.
The hot sun didn't break my enthusiasm today, I felt like I needed to work outside the house because I needed some inspiration. My wife is too lazy to cook snack because she says she need time to enjoy eating in the restaurant, even if it's just snacks. Found a coffee shop not far from the mall, because my wife was shopping at the mall and I chose to wait for her not far from the mall.
In the morning, I drank my own double shot of espresso, with delicious coffee beans of course. I chose to drink arabica so it would be a little good for my stomach. I suffered from GERD 5 years ago, so I kept it well and didn't relapse easily, deciding to reduce drinking coffee which is usually a triple shot every day.
When I was at The Promised Coffee Shop, I ordered a matcha latte, because if I ordered a glass of americano or other coffee menu, my caffeine intake was too much. But I regretted choosing that, because a bad thing happened, without me realizing it, I never ordered matcha latte at any coffee shop, but because I saw my wife liked matcha latte, I thought it tasted good. Because he always finishes his matcha latte at any coffee shop.
I didn't expect that matcha latte was bad for me to drink and it had too much sweetened condensed milk and was very sweet, like drinking sugar in one glass. In fact, you may not see the green color that matcha powder does. It even tends to drown in the white solution of sweetened condensed milk, which is a bit disappointing.
Of course a plate of fried cassava saved my tongue from this too much sweet taste, I thought I might get diabetes when I left this coffee shop. but really wonder why they don't just remove that menu. Is this a favorite menu for guests who come who might not like coffee? I think a very bitter americano is even better than this.
While in the car and heading home, I asked my wife, is the matcha latte at the coffee shop really good? he said that it's certainly not as delicious as the tea shop ones, especially the matcha, but maybe it's a good choice to avoid too much caffeine.
In fact, maybe they don't use the best matcha powder, because they don't specialize, so just lower your standards for a glass of authentic matcha. In my opinion, matcha is not suitable for a coffee shop if you don't want to make it better.
Call me Isdarmady, because I have a full name that is very long, namely Isdarmady Syahputra Ritonga. I am a head of the family who work as Farmers Vegetables Hydroponic and Consultant Hydroponics, sometimes I also sell coffee from various regions in Indonesia.
I have expertise dispensing coffee with a variety of techniques and tools brewing, because I have the desire to make a coffee shop with hydroponics as centerpieces. Help me realize that dream.

I have not tried this matcha latte, I only know that from what I have been told and seen yours, it is green and according to me it is bitter. The truth is that you have to experiment flavors, many will like it, apparently you are not one of those people who like this drink. Greetings.
Seems to be a nice place to spend time with someone. Unfortunately nothing is perfect and There is always something that spoils the visit. A great review, thanks for sharing.☕
