Hello everyone,
Chatting on social media is fun, especially when you can share stories. One of them is about my experience in Da Lat, Lam Dong, Vietnam. You know, this city has extraordinary things and is my favorite tourist destination. There are many things I do here, one of which is trying to become a local citizen. Let me tell you!

Being a local citizen and mingling is a fun thing. You will have lots of stories and can enjoy entertainment without having to spend a lot of money. Knowing the various sides of being a local citizen is the perfect thing to gain experience, that's why traveling always has meaning for me.

You don't have to spend a lot of money or just go around the crowded places they have, that's the attraction of being a local resident. What I did in Da Lat city was visit one of the night markets they have. The night market is different from other cities because this place is a highland and the air temperature is low so it is very cold to the point of piercing the bones.

Initially I came in the afternoon on the motorbike I rented, then I felt hungry and really wanted to try the food at the night market. The receptionist at the hotel I stayed at suggested I try various Vietnamese foods there. Of course I was interested because almost all Vietnamese food is marketed there. This is what the streets and atmosphere of the night market in Da Lat are like.

There are many interesting snacks, ranging from grilled, steamed to boiled. I thought Vietnam was a paradise for healthy food! I don't know why almost all the food is not weird and over fat, in fact I rarely see fried food (although there is some).

Here I eat satay grilled with charcoal and small fire. There is a lot of seafood and other types of meat. I chose to eat seafood and chicken which looked very delicious. Because it's grilled and almost like Japanese-style yakitori, so I think you should try it. Again and again, never disappoints.

Da Lat is very cold, so it's perfect for enjoying a warm meal. There are lots of foods that are grilled or steamed directly on the spot. So, while it's still warm and fresh from the oven, you can enjoy it, so eat it straight away because all food gets cold very easily because of the cold air too.

As I said earlier, there are also foods grilled over hot coals. There is banh trang, like crackers baked and topped with shredded meat, with a sprinkle of green onions which makes the aroma even more challenging. Apart from that, there are eggs and baked sweet potatoes which can be enjoyed warm. Really healthy and nutritious, I think for those on a diet it would be great to have in Vietnam!

I also enjoy a cup of warm drink, even though it tends to be hot! This is mung bean that is only boiled using real mung beans. Without any mixture, just a few pandan leaves and sugar which makes it taste sweet. At this merchant there is also baked bread which tastes very delicious, just dip it with a glass of mung bean.

At this night market there are many people selling not only food and snacks. There are several of them selling fresh and dried fruit, various types of agricultural products such as eggplant, vegetables and chilies. There are also some who sell clothes, garments and several interesting accessories. Oh, there are also souvenirs, so those who want to buy souvenirs can also buy souvenirs for friends and relatives.
