Caracas es una ciudad que nos brinda múltiples espacios para la recreación, pero dentro de tantas opciones podemos destacar aquellos destinos en los que la naturaleza nos regala la oportunidad de vivir una pequeña aventura dentro de la ciudad, si bien Caracas es una urbe totalmente moderna, repleta de avenidas, calles y edificios, pero también cuenta con grandes y majestuosos espacios naturales que se convierten en el lugar de escape por excelencia para la mayoría de los pobladores, se trata de parques montañas y otros espacios en los cuales se puede hacer senderismo, avistamiento de aves y al mismo tiempo disfrutar de ríos y bellos paisajes.

The Waraira Repano National Park also known as El Avila, gives us the opportunity to walk a lot of trails, which lead us to various points of this huge mountain, but this time I and a great friend decided to undertake the ascent to the so-called Quebrada Quintero, it is a fairly easy route to cover, It is a fairly easy route to cover, as it has little slope with roads that are wide and little covered with undergrowth, when we face our journey we find a fairly dry trail, a compact land and a road completely dominated by large trees, fresh air and the landscape of a city that looks imposing before our eyes.

El Parque Nacional Waraira Repano también conocido como El Ávila, nos brinda la oportunidad de recorrer una gran cantidad de senderos, los cuales nos llevan a diversos puntos de esta inmensa montaña, pero en esta oportunidad yo y un gran amigo decidimos emprender el ascenso hacia la denominada Quebrada Quintero, se trata de una ruta bastante fácil de cubrir, ya que cuenta con poca inclinación con caminos que son anchos y poco cubiertos de maleza, al enfrentar nuestro recorrido nos encontramos con un sendero bastante seco, una tierra compacta y una vía totalmente dominada por los grandes árboles, el aire fresco y el paisaje de una ciudad que se ve imponente ante nuestros ojos.

The Quebrada de Quintero is a small stream of crystal clear water that runs between large stones and gradually moves down the mountain until it reaches the city but before it must cross a huge undergrowth that is typical of this type of forest or jungle mountain clouds, the truth is that having had the opportunity to tour these spaces made me feel lucky, Not everyone has the joy of having such a spectacular mountain like this within the city, this is without a doubt an ideal place to exercise, enjoy the fresh air and at the same time clear our minds and fill our souls with good and excellent energies.

La Quebrada de Quintero es un pequeño riachuelo de agua cristalina que discurre entre grandes piedras y poco a poco va avanzando montaña abajo hasta llegar a la ciudad pero antes debe atravesar una inmensa maleza que es típica de este tipo de bosques o selvas los nubladas de montaña, la verdad es que haber tenido la oportunidad de recorrer estos espacios me hizo sentirme afortunado, ya que no todo el mundo cuenta con la dicha de tener una montaña tan espectacular como esta dentro de la ciudad, este sin duda alguno en espacio ideal para ejercitarse, disfrutar del aire fresco y al mismo tiempo despejar nuestra mente y llenar nuestra alma de buenas y excelentes energías.

I was impressed to find many people doing this tour individually, but there are also many others who ascend in groups or in pairs, in my case the pleasant company of my friend Cesar allowed me to enjoy a unique and unrepeatable moment, where jokes, anecdotes, stories and photographs began to flow naturally, creating an atmosphere conducive to sharing, where the joy and enthusiasm to know what the mountain had in store for us was what drove us to move forward our search for new adventures.

Me impresionó encontrar a muchas personas haciendo este recorrido de forma individual, pero también hay muchas otras que ascienden en grupos o en parejas, en mi caso la grata compañía de mi amigo César me permitió disfrutar de un momento único e irrepetible, en donde las bromas, las anécdotas, cuentos y fotografías comenzaron a fluir de forma natural, generando un ambiente propicio para el compartir, en donde la alegría y el entusiasmo por conocer lo que la montaña nos deparaba era lo que nos impulsaba a seguir adelante nuestra búsqueda de nuevas aventuras.
