A Reflection in the Garden

When we hear about a garden in most cases we imagine a large space, full of green grass, numerous flowers and various plants that give us subtle aromas and environments that are characterized by being beautiful, quiet and especially pleasant, but it turns out that for millions of people that reality is not possible, since the advance of human civilization, overpopulation and development has brought with it the construction of taller and taller buildings, which are used for massive housing communities and where spaces such as the garden are reduced to small common areas that are not necessarily as we imagine them.

Un Reflejo en el Jardín

Cuando escuchamos hablar de un jardín en la mayoría de los casos nos imaginamos un espacio amplio, lleno de pasto verde, numerosas flores y diversas plantas que nos regalen sutiles aromas y ambientes que se caracterizan por ser lindos, tranquilos y especialmente agradables, pero resulta que para millones de personas esa realidad no es posible, ya que el avance de la civilización humana, la sobrepoblación y el desarrollo ha traído consigo la construcción de edificios cada vez más altos, los cuales se utilizan comunidades habitacionales masivas y en donde los espacios como el jardín se reduce a pequeñas áreas comunes que no necesariamente son como lo imaginamos.

But as the human inventiveness is enormous we always find where to develop our dreams, it is in this way as in my house my mother has made the balcony her small garden, which stands out for having a variety of plants of various types, but mostly are treated edible that gradually arise from the needs of the kitchen, we also find here small troughs and some baskets with some cereals that have made this great window dozens of birds that daily cheer us with their colors and songs.

Pero como la inventiva humana es enorme siempre encontramos en dónde desarrollar nuestros sueños, es de esta forma como en mi casa mi madre ha hecho del balcón su pequeño jardín, el cual resalta por un contar con una gran variedad de plantas de diversos tipos, pero en su mayoría se tratan comestibles que poco a poco sur de las necesidades propias de la cocina, además encontramos acá pequeños bebederos y algunas canastas con algunos cereales que han convertido a esta gran ventana en parada obligada decenas de aves que a diario nos alegran con sus colores y cantos.

It is precisely on one of these small troughs that this morning I came across an extremely interesting reflection, where we can admire with total clarity how a ripe tomato hangs firmly and decisively waiting to be cut, it is a small, subtle but elegant reflection, which shows the simplicity of life, the wonders of nature and human creativity.

Es justamente sobre uno de estos pequeños bebederos que en la mañana de hoy me pude encontrar con un reflejo sumamente interesante, en donde podemos admirar con total claridad como un tomate ya maduro cuelga firme y decididamente esperando ser cortado, se trata de un reflejo pequeño, sutil, pero elegante, en donde se demuestra la sencillez de la vida, las maravillas de la naturaleza y la creatividad humana.
