We Are Alive! October 8th, 2023. Camping
I have internet connection! Im here at the campsite lodge, sipping my coffee. Its a brisk 42 degrees F, but im keeping warm and comfortable. Today is the 12 th day since we left, its been almost two weeks! The time flew by so quickly.
The last great day of the festival past last night, but everyone here is celebrating another day. We pack up tonight and tomorrow to head home.
There are many stories to tell, unexpected events, and joyous occasions. All in all it was a grreat experience.
I look forward to blogging all about it in the coming days!

We did have a great time, it was supposed to be 8 days, but four days traveling to and back... except we ended up only an hour away from home, giving us extra days. !ALIVE

We are observing the biblical festival of "Booths" or "Tabernacles" or "Sukkot". It's celebrated in Jerusalem when the temple is intact, but for now we are practicing close by. We live in temporary shelters for seven days and have a big party on the eighth day. We were planning on traveling almost 700 miles (13 hour drive) to fellowship with friends in Arkansas, but had a sudden change in plans and stayed at a campground about an hour and a half away.
Oh, OK, cool! Well, I hope that the experience is deeply fulfilling and meaningful! An hour and a half away sounds a lot less tiring than traveling thirteen hours! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
