We got hamburgers for the little ones.

Today my wife and I did some grocery shopping together. We visited our local Aldi for most of our groceries, especially fruits and vegetables. On a whim, I said "Let's check on butter prices..." at our local grocery store.

Aldi is selling butter for about $3.29/lb, which is better than when it was $5 - $6 per lb. We would buy a stick here or there for $3.50, but we're always looking for better prices. There was a bunch selling for $2.50 and we got VERY excited about that.... until we visited today.

Today, we made a $32.00 investment... 16lbs of butter!

That's enough butter to last us at least... a few weeks. I'm joking (sort of) our family really likes butter. And not the fake "country crock" stuff, no real butter.

Here's to affordable butter for my family, a freezer full of butter!
