Our newest edition to our family is Ruth Eden Turner, she is just a few days old. Nursing great, heartbeat fantastic, a bit gassy, seems to have a temper, but really enjoys spending time with mommy. Her eyes are still mostly shut, but the manages to get one open occasionally to get a peek on what's going on.

Those first couple days transitioning to the "real world" is a challenge. It's cold, it's bright, it's noisy. But she is surrounded with people who love her and take care of her.

Our former youngest is really fascinated with his new sister. He likes to pat her head. When he first met her, he pointed at mommy's tummy and said "That came from your body?"

We've been telling him that there is a baby inside mommy's body, so it makes sense for him to say this.
