We Are Alive! July 10th, 2024 Cool Rain
After all the hot and muggy weather, we are finally experiencing cool temperatures. The hot weather was related to the hurricane down south and this rain is what is left of that hurricane. By the time it reaches this far north, it's just a gentle summer rain.
As usual, our street is flooding. When the children saw it this morning, they wanted to go out and play around in it. But it's cold and there's other things that need to be done.

The rain kept pouring

That does look like some good puddles to jump in! Mine just asked me to go "swim" in the creek in the middle of a rain storm we're having. My parents got hit by the hurricane in Houston. Thankfully they just had some downed branches, but it looks like Jamaica really got hit hard. Glad you guys just had some gentle rain!
The children see an opportunity to have fun even in the most extreme conditions, I am glad they are well.
