Today has been a delight. We enjoyed a wonderful meal together as a family, breaking bread together.

We lit special candles and sang songs together. We blessed and asked for blessings, we prayed together and enjoyed conversations.

I was admiring this special candlestick with seven branches, spelling the Hebrew name of Jesus. It's been a dream of mine to make something like this... perhaps someday soon an opportunity like this may show up.

For lunch, we feasted on leftovers and odds and ends. We found crackers, cheese, beef summer sausage, turkey lunch meat, carrots, cookies and even left-over cheese cake from our birthdays.... wow, what a feast!

Our children gobbled all this up, even the carrots, but especially the cookies.

This has been a very restful day, now on to the work week!
