We Are Alive! December 15th, 2024 Cloud Cake
Today is the big shower day! The boys are staying home, while mom and the girls all go to the shower.
Given all the sweets and decorations, this event will be very nice!
My brother-in-law is getting married in a few weeks and this is the wedding shower for the soon-to-be couple.
Lauren made a dozen cakes and dozens of scones. They all turned out beautifully!
It was a big job, but she did wonderfully at it!
I'll miss the shower, but I'm sure the girls will have a great time.

A shower is a tradition where people come for a party and bring gifts to help the new household. The couple created a registry on Amazon and everyone picked something to bring. In turn, the family of the new couple puts together a party. !BBH

I love cake and for that reason I have a platonic love for wedding cake, because to date I have never had the opportunity to be at a wedding.
I can't help but have mixed feelings, I'm very curious to know how different it tastes.

Thankfully, cakes like these can be found outside of weddings, but you have to look for them. These cakes had either strawberry or mango fruit inside of them. I sampled the strawberry, it was delicious. Haven't tried mango, but I got to eat the leftover fruit! !BBH
