We are delighted to see our garden beginning to produce for us. Our sunflowers have turned into giant monsters! It'll be time to cut off the sunflower head to let it dry, so we can enjoy the seeds.

Our star player in our garden this year are the green beans. I've been picking them every other morning and each time I get a generous crop.

We also have a bunch of sweet potatoes. It'll be fun digging up the sweet potatoes, it's like digging for treasure!

Our volunteer pumpkin has stretched all the way to the apple tree. It's tricky to even get to the compost pile, having to step over this massive plant. I really hope we get a nice pumpkin from this. If not, we'll just return it all to the compost!

(I think we'll get some good fruit from this later in the season.)
