Fundacoven: The Blockchain is for Good

There are so many excellent projects here on the HIVE blockchain, but one of my absolute favorite and most helpful is FUNDACOVEN.

Fundacoven is a blockchain charity, whose proceeds goes towards those in need in a rural community in Venezuela.

Fundacoven offers transparency with their finances and every donation is turned into useful supplies, medicine and food for the poor communities of Venezuela.

Venezuela is a country with high poverty rates, a product of the different sociopolitical and economic situations that the nation is going through. It is because of this that the consequences of this event are still being experienced and we observe rates of nutritional deterioration in communities in our municipality. Our country lacks the most essential, where the majority of the population does not have access to decent housing, permanent employment and salaries that adjust to the cost of living, a Venezuelan earns an average of between 30 and 50 dollars a month, while that the cost of the food basket is established at 365 dollars according to data offered by the Venezuelan finance observatory. This brings with it serious consequences in the areas of health, education, food, housing and services.
