Rats and Garden - CCC's Street Art Contest #173

avatar

Hey there! So, I stumbled upon this cool mural, and I thought I'd share the scoop with you. It's not massive, just about 4-5 meters, and drawn on the boundary wall of a school.

On the left, a kid pulls a huge rat, trying to sneak it into a room with a wide-open door. Then, on the right, next to the door, things get quirky—a person chomping down on the key and lock from that very door. Keep sliding to the next part, and there's a window with a bunch of tiny rats pouring out, wreaking havoc on a garden.

What I got from this art piece is like a cause-and-effect thing. The kid's mischief ends up causing some unintended chaos. But, the person with a blindfold munching on the door gear? Still scratching my head on that one.

Now, here's the bummer—some parts of the mural are showing signs of age. The paint's peeling off, and to top it off, there are random folks who've doodled all over it with stuff totally unrelated to the mural's story.

Anyways, that's my mini-adventure with CCC's Street Art Contest #173, hosted by the awesome @digi-me. If you're into sharing your artsy finds, check out the contest through this link. Happy exploring!
