Hello everyone, I wish you a good day. Northwest of Turkey is famous for greased wrestling sports. There are wrestling competitions in Edirne in the summer and the wrestler who wins all the games is selected as the champion.

I saw a statue of a wrestler in Tekirdağ square and thought it would interest you. Under the statue, it says Hüseyin Pehlivan/wrestler from Tekirdağ, who lived between 1908 and 1982. I went to the place where these sports competitions were held in Edirne before, but I did not watch it live. I just know that wrestlers are very muscular and strong 😁

Tekirdağ meydanında da bir pehlivan heykeli gördüm ve ilginizi çekeceğini düşündüm🤗 Heykelin altında 1908 ve 1982 yılları arasında yaşamış olan Tekirdağlı Hüseyin Pehlivan yazıyor. Daha önce bu spor müsabakalarının yapıldığı yere Edirne'de gitmiştim ama canlı canlı izlemedim. Sadece pehlivanların çok kaslı ve güçlü olduklarını biliyorum 😁

This statue was right in front of the Meydan meatball restaurant, which is seen in the photo. I noticed the statue when I left the restaurant where we ate our meatballs :) Then we took a long walk. The coast was pretty close and it looked like this.

Bu heykel fotoğrafta görünen Meydan Köftecisinin hemen önündeydi. Köftelerimizi yediğimiz restorandan çıkınca fark ettim heykeli:) Daha sonra uzunca bir yürüyüş yaptık. Sahil oldukça yakındı ve şöyle görünüyordu.

Many people were fishing here.

Burada çoğu kişi balık tutuyordu.

We started to move towards the pier seen in the picture above. The pier was like a long bridge. We learned that its name is Süleymanpaşa Rumeli Pier. There were several regions on it. At the entrance, there were shops selling touristic goods. Along the pier, there were shaded benches to sit on the sides. When I went along the pier, I saw such a place on the right side of the shore, where I did not go before.

Yukarıdaki resimde görünen iskeleye doğru ilerlemeye başladık. İskele uzun bir köprü gibiydi. Adının Süleymanpaşa Rumeli İskelesi olduğunu öğrendik. Üzerinde çeşitli bölgeler vardı. Giriş kısmında turistik eşya satan dükkanlar yer alıyordu. İskele boyunda kenarlarda oturmak için gölgelikli banklar vardı. İskele boyunca ilerleyince kıyının gitmediğim sağ tarafında böyle bir yer gördüm.

Again, there were various objects placed on the pier to take pictures, I liked this rudder 🤗

Yine iskele üzerinde fotoğraf çekmek için konmuş çeşitli objeler vardı ben bu dümeni beğendim 🤗

There were people who continued to fish here as well. There was also a shop selling ice cream and two separate cafes in this part. I would like to spend time in one of these cafes next time I come. I didn't shoot photos of cafes because they were so crowded I didn't want to disturb people.

Balık tutmaya burada da devam eden insanlar vardı. Bu kısımda ayrıca dondurma satan bir dükkanla iki adet ayrı kafe vardı. Bir dahaki gelişimde bu kafelerden birinde vakit geçirmek istiyorum. Kafeleri çekmedim çünkü çok kalabalıktı insanları rahatsız etmek istemedim.

It's a pretty big pier bridge.

Oldukça büyük bir iskele köprü bu.

I also saw a huge jellyfish and photographed it :))

Ayrıca kocaman bir deniz anası gördüm ve onu da fotoğrafladım :))

They made a glass floor in a part of the bridge, and when you pass here, you feel like you are walking on the sea :)

Köprünün bir kısmında camdan bir zemin yapmışlar ve buradan geçince denizin üzerinde yürüyor gibi hissediyor insan kendini :)

When you go straight from the exit from the pier, you come out to the street again.

İskeleden çıkıştan dümdüz ilerleyince yine caddeye çıkıyorsunuz.

There is also another meatball restaurant and a clock tower here. We proceeded to the right and walked along the walking path. This place was crowded and full of various statues.

Ayrıca başka bir köfteci restoranı ve bir saat kulesi yer alıyor burada. Sağ taraftan ilerledik ve yürüyüş yolunda yürüdük. Burası kalabalık ve çeşitli heykellerle doluydu.

This tree caught my attention with its wide branches and beautiful appearance. It filled the frame perfectly, it's really great😍

Geniş dalları ve güzel görüntüsüyle bu ağaç ilgimi çekti. Kadraja tam doldurdu, gerçekten harika😍

In this work, Atatürk's face was tried to be depicted from both sides. When you look at this work from the right or the left along the way, Atatürk's face is selected. But when you look from the side, you only see a few poles like the one in the middle picture. I think it's a good job.

Bu çalışmada Atatürk'ün yüzü iki taraftan da resmedilmeye çalışılmış. Yol boyunca bu çalışmaya tam sağ ya da tam soldan baktığınızda Atatürk'ün çehresi seçiliyor. Ama yandan baktığınızda ortadaki gibi sadece bir kaç direk görüyorsunuz. Bence başarılı bir çalışma.

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to shoot every statue :( It was almost evening and we said goodbye to Tekirdağ and returned home...

Her heykeli çekmeye vaktim olmadı maalesef :( Akşam olmak üzereydi ve Tekirdağ'a veda edip eve döndük...
