My Animations in NFT Showroom
I simply love making videos and animations! It's been a while since I've last put my brain cells in to animated art but I feel that soon a new one will emerge from the depths of my mind and heart. Or perhaps kidney or liver. Or lungs. Well, you never know what internal organ of mine will play the lead. That remains to be seen.
In this one, the Turningpoint, my lungs were in one of the leading roles. Blowing a melodica several times so that it lasts exactly the time that it takes for the rolling thing to roll from one side to the other side seemed like an easy thing to do but was actually trickier that you might think. And since I'm rarely blessed with the capability: "nailed it with one try" and this certainly wasn't one of those times, my lungs really gave almost everything they had.
You can find my animations here: https://nftshowroom.com/insaneworks/gallery
Aphidragon was something that my heart was deeply involved in. I love dragons, have a love/hate relationship with my 2019 and 2020 Inktober hero Rachel Rabbit since I can't really draw, and have a hate/hate relationship with aphids since the real life ones are trying to eat my real life plants that I'm trying to grow and promised to protect them from all harm doers. I had a photoshoot with the aphids and although I would have loved to shoot them after the photoshoot, I chose a far more satisfying method in killing my photoshoot models. Drowning. I could hear them scream and my heart was pleased.
Metamorphoship is one of my Inktober thingies. Combining different methods (because I can't draw) is something I love doing and after toying with Hjemmet magazine clippings from the 60's and getting interesting results in Photoshop, my brain had an idea, or actually several, but one had to win and this was the end result. Metamorphoship!
Inktober mixed with Hjemmet magazine again. This super duper housewife religion hits my liver really hard. I mean, I'm not a drinker. Not at all. But the horrifying thought of cooking and cleaning as the only purpose in life drives my liver to the point of wanting to drink itself to death. Sooner the better because more lives would be saved that way.
When working with Mana On The Verge I had to put more than just my internal organs to work. Or actually I'm not sure if soul could be counted as an internal organ but what I am sure is that every time I write about Mana, my soul tells me what to do. Mana speaks to me. Through my soul. Sometimes it's really hard to hear because in order to hear Mana I have to be quiet and usually it's really hard because my head is so loud as it goes on and on like this: "am I hungry I sure do want some coffee but if I'm hungry I should eat first because coffee isn't real food but hey have I washed my clothes but now I have to pet the cat, Oh were you out in the balcony, I should go check my plants in the balcony but first I have to nail this nail to the wall to get that painting hanged but why am I holding a shoe, where's the other shoe, is there something burning, did I already put lunch in the oven but hey who has put the coffee maker on, I sure would like to drink some coffee..." so you see it's really hard to hear Mana, but of course sometimes miracles happen and I hear when it speaks to me.
The rest of the animations in NFT Showroom I did with the help of my gut. Some say gut is in your stomach, some say it's a bit lower, some say it's in your fingers or perhaps in your head and heart, but I say my gut is all over. From my toes to my fingertips. It's dormant and silent when there's nothing notable in site, but when things click it sends a clear message to my body and head and I just know it. That's it, nothing more to add, nothing to take away. Done and finished. Tranquility.
So the last ones I've done with my good old pal, gut feeling.

Thank you @ewkaw! :)
i like the combination of physical and digital. in the notebook paper works. this has a nice touch
Thank you! When I was searching for a notebook from my stash to glue the paper clippings this was the only one large enough spiral notebook I found. At first I though that the writing lines were too much but actually the lines give it a nice touch and more character.
