Does Christ's birth encourages or promote sin? Did he come for people to dwell in adultery and fornications? Would his birth celebration encourages ungodly acts? No! not at all, but it's saddling looking at what people turned it be, which I seems to take it as ignorance. There are many controversy, misconception, disagreement and argument whether Christ birth worth celebrating. What does birth entails before God? Understanding this will clear some of your doubt

Birth is God's arrangement for replenishing the earth, Then God said, “And now we will make human beings; they will be like us and resemble us. They will have power over the fish, the birds, and all animals, domestic and wild, large and small.” So God created human beings, making them to be like himself. He created them male and female, blessed them, and said, “Have many children, so that your descendants will live all over the earth and bring it under their control. I am putting you in charge of the fish, the birds, and all the wild Genesis 1:26-28 It the process of progression of man that's, it's important also note that, there's no single birth in biblical history without celebration and God's original plan was for man to multiple which is through birth, it's expected that every birth should bring victory.

Why then do we have to celebrate the birth of the Messiah, Christ?

God is consistent in his character and his of his characters is faithfulness He's ever faithful with his promises. Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14 His. There are outside characters embedded in Christ's birth and mission. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

  • The Government: This is the ruling of God in righteous, the salvation and emancipation from the bondage of sin and captivity. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. His government has no end

  • Wonderful: They were many savior figure before the birth of Christ, one of those figures was Moses, yet they had some limited as human. The wonders of Christ started from his conception without any human contribution to overcoming satanic tricks who he usually used to bring others messianic figures.

  • Counselor: He's a great counselor that was and would ever lived.

And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, they say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. John 8:3-11

  • The mighty God: The mightiness of Christ is without measures. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. Psalm 145:3 God meant everything he says, the redemption and salvation promise he fulfilled in Christ.

  • The Everlasting Father: Christ is a everlasting king and his coming brought us eternal life of Christ. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.John 3:16

  • The Prince of Peace: His birth brought peace, closing the gap between God and man and the enmity Satan set in. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2
