PRESENTATION:

I think #kingofduels is an excellent game. Since it is a different game than what we are used to in HIVE, it is challenging and competitive. One of the things I like the most about KOD are its card designs, since they are varied and very creative, I especially like the design of the samurai cards. But, I feel that they are missing something, I feel that they are missing history, that is why I am making this post. I'm going to tell the story of the first card I learned to use like a pro hahaha.

On the one hand, the members of the Takeda clan were known for their skill in battle and military leadership. Whereas, those of the Uesugi clan were known for their serenity and wisdom. These clans had a dispute: the Takeda clan, along with its leader, sought to unify Japan through conquest. But, the Uesugi clan wanted the freedom of Japan. Despite the conflict, these clans could not battle as the consequences would be catastrophic.

Historias de King Of Duels: Aoi Kojiro

– Realmente no saben quién soy, ¿verdad?

– Me ofendes Kojiro realmente ¿No me conoces?

King Of Duels Stories: Aoi Kojiro

Aoi Kojiro was an old man with an imposing bearing, who also had wrinkled skin and calloused hands that showed the passing of the years. Despite his age, his gaze was steady and his posture was straight and sure. He had a mustache and white hair, which was tied up in a traditional bun. His blue silk kimono was adorned with characteristic symbols of the Uesugi clan. Kojiro lived on the outskirts of a village located in the north of Japan, which stood out for being a mountainous region in which it snowed all year round.

It was a cold morning, Kojiro was heading to the village to get his daily ration at the local market. Before entering the market he noticed on a wall to his right a sign:

Without giving it much importance, Kojiro waited his turn, grabbed his ration and returned to his minka. When he arrived, night had already fallen and he brought with him a great snow storm, which was so thick that absolutely nothing could be seen around. Kojiro closed all the openings of his minka and began to prepare tea. But suddenly, a very loud noise was heard as if something had hit the ground. Kojiro went to the door of his minka, slid it to his left and could see that the noise came from... a branch. Apparently the wind had detached a branch from a nearby tree, which caused it to crash against his minka.

Suddenly, the storm dissipated and in the distance he could see that a group of eight men pointed at him, murmured something and started towards their minka.

– What do you want? – Kojiro asked, with a firm and calm voice.

– What do you think we want, old man? – Shouted one of the bandits – Give us all your valuables and we won't hurt you.

– I won't give them to them – Kojiro replied and quietly slid the door of his minka.

This action left the men completely confused and enraged, causing them to kick down the door of their minka. Inside it was Kojiro, wearing a shimmering blue armor over his kimono and on his face a large helmet. You could only see his big mustache and, next to him, hung his sword. Around him there was a feeling of respect and honor, how could that old man give off such an overwhelming feeling?

– You really don't know who I am, do you? – Kojiro exclaimed – I am the Legendary Samurai Aoi Kojiro, I participated in the unified war against the dream devourers two hundred years ago and I survived. They will pay for their disrespect.

One of the bandits, frightened by realizing the huge mistake they had made, tried to draw his katana, and at that moment, Kojiro reacted. He took out his katana, which was a long weapon and with a peculiar color very similar to wisteria flowers, took a right foot back, lowered his stance, took a deep breath and mentioned:

– Fourth posture, multiple lunge.

He made some very quick movements, similar to a dance, and prostrated himself on the opposite side of the room. They were all dead, in an instant he killed all those men without giving them any chance. A cough was heard in the background, Kojiro turned around and saw that one of them had survived, although the man was on the verge of death, he steeled himself and yelled at him:

– I hate you, you killed them all, I HATE YOU.

At that moment, time for that dying man stopped, everything turned black and a strange human-shaped figure appeared in front of him out of the darkness.

– Hate – Said the strange humanoid figure.

– Wh…Who are you? – The scared man replied.

– I hate Kojiro, I hate him – The strange humanoid figure replied.

Everything became clearer, the man was able to see that strange monster, it had a very deformed body, pointed ears and had no mouth. But despite everything he was speaking.

- What do you want? - Shouted the very scared bandit. The monster, ignoring his question, replied:

– Do you want to survive?

-Yes - The bandit answered.

– My name is Odio Zinger, I am a dream devourer. I offer you all my power to kill Kojiro, but we must form a covena...

The bandit interrupted the dream devourer with a nod. But, what he didn't know was that the dream devourer planned to control his body forever. Kojiro went to the poor dying man to get him out of his suffering, pointed his katana at his neck and attacked. But suddenly the man moved quickly and defended himself with his arm, Kojiro's katana hit the bandit's arm and broke, only superhuman strength would be able to break that legendary weapon.

– But what happened? – Kojiro exclaimed, very confused.

The dream devourer closed his fist and with incredible strength pierced the legendary samurai from side to side, Kojiro spat blood and fell kneeling on the floor, very confused and on the verge of death, he looked at his opponent's face and asked:

- Who are you?

– You really offend me, Kojiro. Don't you know me? Wait – The terrible man answered.

From one moment to the next the man's body began to change, it became taller, deformed and white as snow. The dream devourer had completely possessed the body.

– Imm…possible, you are dead, your race is extinct.

– I promised you that I would take revenge – Hate Zinger replied and, without hesitation, she took Kojiro's split katana and put it through his neck.

– Exactly the same as two hundred years ago, but the roles changed – Hate Zinger said.

– Oh great and powerful legendary Samurai Aoi Kojiro, what happened to your power? – Hate Zinger exclaimed in a mocking tone.

The dream devourer freed Kojiro who, on the edge of the abyss, fell to the ground with his entire body. With the last of his strength, before he lost consciousness, he looked up to see the dream devourer move to the door and leave. He tried to say stop, but couldn't. Kojiro had been defeated. He closed his eyes on that cold night and never opened them again.

Minutes later, a strong and very bright light fell on Kojiro's minka, causing a loud sound similar to that of lightning and a tremor similar to that of an earthquake. The strong light could be seen from any corner of Japan, it was the signal, a legendary Samurai had fallen.
