Kiwai To Shogran, Very Near To Clouds

Assalam-O-Alaikum and Hi guys! in my last blog I mentioned about the journey from Islamabad to Kiwai. Our stay in Kiwai was short, before going to Naran we decided to go to Shogran first. It means that a few meters away from the place where we stayed for a short time, a road lead towards Shogran. The distance from Kiwai to Shogran is seven kilometers, these seven kilometers have to be climbed by car, this road is still under construction but if you go here in your own vehicle, the condition of the road is very bad due to which car can also be damaged, so we decided to park our car at the parking lot in Kiwai and hire a jeep to go to Shogran., the jeep fare from Kiwai to Shogran is 4200 to 4500 rupees, which is 15 US dollars, but if you stay one night in Shogran, the jeep drivers charge you 5500 to 6000 rupees, which is eighteen to twenty US dollars. They drop you off at Shogran first and then bring you back from Shogran in the morning. We also parked the car in Kiwai, the parking fee for one night was 400 rupees which is one US dollar and a few cents. We boarded on jeep and left for Shogran, it took us almost 45 minutes to reach Shogran, this distance could have been covered in half an hour, but the jeep traveled at a slow speed due to the bad road.

Basically, Shogran is a village on the top of a hill and it is located at an altitude of about 8 thousand feet, here you will find the weather much cooler than in Kiwi, the clouds are very close and you can often see rain in Shogran in the months of June and July. After reaching Shogran, we decided to stay at White Castle Hotel

This hotel is very beautifully designed. In Shogran, I would suggest you to stay at White Castle Hotel. Very beautifully maintained. Outside the hotel, you will find beautiful lawns, on which colorful flowers will have a pleasant effect on your mood. You have a very good view of the mountains from this hotel. Overall, looking at this hotel reminds me of PC Bhurban. The beautifully maintained hotel is no less than PC Bhurban. The beauty of this hotel will not let you go anywhere else, its one-night stay is around ten thousand rupees or thirty-four US dollars, but if you bargain well, you can book a room at a lower price too.

In Shogran you can also get an option of rest house of forest department. This rest house of forest department is located at that very place, which people wants to see and for this place they go to Shogran, this rest house is in lush green field of Shogran.

It is a vast field in which you get to see the beauty of deep forest and mountains very closely. Some people come here to do barbeque and also cook food because the beauty of this place captivates you.

In Shogran you will find tea and coffee stalls everywhere and there are also restaurants where you can find almost every food you can find in other parts of the country. In Shogran you feel the nature very close but walking here becomes very difficult in rainy season because the roads are very rough and stony due to which you can see mud in places during rainy days, but the weather here is amazing
