Journey to a tourist spot where you find a delicious brunch
Whichever corner of the world you talk about, the people living there eagerly wait for the weekend. After a busy schedule throughout the week, the first priority on the weekend is to take deep sleep and brunch replaces breakfast. Mostly brunch is at home, but we try to have brunch out at a restaurant once in two months, and if it's a buffet brunch, then that's my favorite. This time our plan was for brunch at that place where we got to see the natural environment and refreshing atmosphere as well, so we chose Dino Valley, a branch of Monal chain of food.
Dino Valley is located at a distance of seven kilometers from Monal Islamabad and it takes ten minutes to reach here from Monal. Brunch here starts at 11 am and continues till 3 pm.
After arriving at the reserve table, the place is immediately filled with lassi, some people also call lassi as Asian wine, although it is not alcoholic at all, this drink purely made from a mixture of milk and yogurt.
Leaving the lassi on the table, I moved towards the food items where there was an abundance of things to eat. Pakistan's favorite dish, mutton pie, which is the preferred food of Pakistanis for breakfast and I was very happy to see there. After mutton pie, Pakistanis also eat beef nihari with great enthusiasm and this dish was also a part of this buffet. What's the fun if the buffet doesn't have barbeque, but luckily for us both chicken Kebab and chicken Boti were on the menu.
There was an endless line of dishes. Haleem, Chicken Kadhahi, Zeera Pulao, Sausages, Chicken Tawa Qeema (Mince), Egg Fried Rice, Chicken Manchurian, Aloo Achari , Lahori Channay, Chicken Burger, Butter, Jam, Slices and many more were available in this buffet. Drinks include Mango and Peach nectar.
There was a separate live omelet station where you can go and make your own omelet. If you want to eat paratha, it was also getting ready on the live station. Apart from this, the station of Halwa Puri, another favorite snack of Pakistanis, was also live.
There were various cereals for the kids. If you wanted to drink hot milk, that was also arranged there. In desserts, you have carrot halwa, Kheer, Custard biscuits, pastries and tarts. Eat as much as you want but take care not to waste food, a banner was also displayed regarding this and it should be the same, we should take care to put as much food on our plate as we can eat.
Breakfast or brunch is incomplete without tea, so mixed tea was also part of this buffet, but if you order tea separately, fresh tea is also served at your table. I really liked the brunch at Dino Valley, the price per person after adding all the taxes was 1725 Pakistani rupees, which is about six and a half US dollars per person.
