Delicious Goat Mince (Keema) Prepared on Hot Plate (Tawa)
Ingredients
Goat Minced meat half kg.
2 onions medium size,
ghee or clarified butter half cup,
ginger garlic paste 1 table spoon,
3 tomato's ripe and big, yogurt half cup,
salt half tsp or as per taste, ground red chilies 1tsp, turmeric 1tsp,
ground coriander 1tsp, ground cumin seeds 1tsp,
water as per requirement
Recipe
Cut half a kilogram of goat meat (mutton) with the help of a knife into very small pieces so that the meat looks like mince. This recipe is prepared without a pressure cooker, so put the mince on a hot plate (Tawa) and heat it for a minute. After that add water and cover the mince with a lid, add more water as soon as the water starts to dry. Add one table spoon of ginger & garlic paste. Cut three big sized tomatoes in half and place them on top of the mincemeat and again cover with a lid, if the water gets dry during this time, add more water, as this recipe is prepared without a pressure cooker, so the mincemeat, water has to be added repeatedly. After the tomato, add onion to the minced meat and then cover it with a lid. With the help of tongs, separate the tomato skins and mash the onion and tomato into a fine paste. Cover with lid and cook for a while and then add ginger and green chilies and after a while add the above-mentioned spices. Cover the mince with a lid again to infuse the aroma of the spices into the mince, check the mince with a knife or hand, if it has tendered, add desi ghee or butter and fry the mince well, finally add curd and garnish with ginger and coriander.
