LOH Contest #129:Beautiful Spring [Eng- Esp].
Dear empowered ladies of the hive, I wish you all are having an amazing week. I am thrilled to be back, to share with you my participation in community quiz #129, thank you @kerrislravenhill for such fantastic questions.
Queridas y empoderadas damas de la colmena, deseo que todas estén teniendo una increíble semana. Me encanta estar de vuelta, para compartir con ustedes mi participación en el concurso comunitario #129, gracias a @kerrislravenhill por tan fantásticas preguntas.
Spring is here. And it’s Easter or Passion week, religious or not, what were your special plans this week did you and your family accomplish?
For as long as I can remember I have always enjoyed spending time with my family, sharing with them and being able to enjoy their company, it is something that makes me feel better even in the moments when I am not 100% and I find this amazing. That's why I love to visit my parents on days off and spend time with them, since my brothers emigrated to other countries, they are more alone and we like to keep them company, so without thinking much my boyfriend and I went to spend a few days with them.
My parents are quite calm people, with whom you can live great experiences, because they are not complicated or demanding, they are happy through simplicity and pleasant company, I think that from them I inherited that minimalism that is present in me. So, during our Easter week together we had a great time, we went for a walk in a park near the house, we ate ice cream because we all love it and most importantly we took the opportunity to clear our minds of our daily obligations.
Desde que tengo memoria siempre he disfrutado pasar tiempo con mi familia, compartir con ellos y poder disfrutar de su compañía, es algo que me hace sentir mejor aún en los momentos en los que no me encuentro al 100% y esto me parece increíble. Es por eso que me encanta visitar a mis padres en los días libres y pasar tiempo con ellos, ya que desde que mis hermanos emigraron a otros países, ellos están más solos y nos gusta hacerles compañía, así que sin pensarlo mucho mi novio y yo nos fuimos a estar unos días con ellos.
Mis padres son personas bastante tranquilas, con los cuales se pueden vivir grandes experiencias, porque no son complicados ni exigentes, son felices mediante la sencillez y la grata compañía, creo que de ellos herede ese minimalismo que está presente en mí. Por tanto, en nuestra semana santa juntos la pasamos genial, salíamos a caminar a un parque que queda cerca de la casa, comíamos helados porque a todos nos fascinan y lo más importante aprovechábamos de despejar la mente de las obligaciones diarias.
Another of the activities that we enjoy the most as a family and that is tradition, is to make special dishes, well we were only in charge of tasting, since my boyfriend was the one who made the preparations and believe me they were delicious. So, you could say that all those days, we watched a lot of movies, while we enjoyed eating delicious vegetarian meals, since both he and I have been vegetarians for some years and although my parents are not, they love to eat healthy.
Of course, we could not miss the corresponding visit to the mountain, that magical and unique place, where we stay when we go to my boyfriend's grandmother's house, because we love to connect with nature and recharge energies, we love this place to disconnect from everything, of course we did not have the company of my parents for this occasion. But still we felt so happy and content to see the beauty of nature accompanying us every step we took.
My Holy Week reminded me of the incalculable value of being with family and being happy, giving thanks every moment for the joy of being alive and being able to smile.
Otra de las actividades que más disfrutamos en familia y que es tradición, es hacer platos especiales, bueno nosotros solo nos encargamos de degustar, ya que mi novio fue el que hizo las preparaciones y créanme le quedaron deliciosas. Entonces, se podría decir que todos esos días, vimos muchas películas, mientras nos deleitábamos comiendo exquisitas comidas vegetarianas, puesto que tanto él como yo somos vegetarianos desde hace algunos años y aunque mis padres no lo son, les encanta comer sano.
Por supuesto, no podía faltar la correspondiente visita a la montaña, ese lugar mágico y único, en dónde nos quedamos cuando vamos a la casa de la abuela de mi novio, porque nos encanta conectar con la naturaleza y recargar energías, nos fascina este lugar para desconectarnos de todo, claro no contamos con la compañía de mis padres para esta ocasión. Pero aun así nos sentimos tan felices y contentos de poder ver la belleza de la naturaleza acompañándonos a cada paso que dábamos.
Mi semana santa, me hizo recordar el valor incalculable de estar con la familia y de ser felices, agradeciendo a cada instante por la dicha de estar vivos y ser capaces de sonreír.
Speaking of spring, when was the last time you got a gift of flowers, from whom, and for what occasion?
Flowers are, for me, a really beautiful gift because they represent an offering of love, tenderness and they transmit a feeling of serenity that I love. I think the last time I was given a gift of this kind was for a birthday where I was given some calla lilies, full of such a beautiful and special feeling that I still remember it today.
These beautiful calla lilies were given to me by my brothers, because they know that I am a person who loves nature and flowers, since I enjoy these gifts so beautiful and with so much personality, because flowers for me transmit a singular beauty that embraces everything around them.
Las flores son, para mí, un regalo realmente hermoso porque representan una ofrenda de amor, ternura y me transmiten un sentimiento de serenidad que me encanta. Creo que la última vez que me dieron un obsequio de este tipo fue para un cumpleaños en dónde me regalaron unas calas, cargadas de un sentimiento tan bello y especial que aún hoy lo recuerdo.
Estas hermosas calas me las regalaron mis hermanos, porque saben que soy una persona amante de la naturaleza y de las flores, ya que disfruto de estos obsequios tan bellos y con tanta personalidad, porque las flores para mí transmiten una belleza singular que abarca todo a su alrededor.

Que preciosidad esas calas. Por cierto que lindo que puedan ser tu novio y tu vegetarianos, yo tengo años sin pareja pero siempre un problema ha sido la falta de apoyo y crítica de estos hacía mi negativa de comer carne y otras cosas dañinas. Abrazos 🤗

Que bueno que no comas carne 🙂💪🏻. Te entiendo a veces las personas creen que comer carne, es la única forma de estar bien alimentados y se convierte en un problema.
Antes de conocer a mi novio, esas cosas me ocurrieron también, cuando conocía a alguien insistía en que comiera carne, pero nunca accedí.
