Enjoying my coffee in a new place
These days the weather in my city has been extremely rainy. This condition is peculiar to me because normally the month characterized by this type of weather is May, and even Cubans have the tradition of drinking from the waters of the first downpour of this month as an omen of good health. However, on Friday I had unpostponable activities to do outside the house, so not even the rain could stop me.
Once I finished my work, I decided to look for a place to enjoy my afternoon coffee. And with that goal in mind, I went to La Flor de Zapata, which is a coffee shop located very close to the area I was walking through at that moment.
The first thing that caught my attention was that, to my surprise, they accepted payments in HBD. I already knew that in the city there are already some gastronomic facilities that allow this type of transactions, but I had not personally visited any of them.
I found the place very nice, with a decoration characterized by the presence of antique objects on one of its walls. The bar simulates a brick wall, and the doors are made of glass and wood. As I am very curious, I asked if the name of the place was related to some historical event, since the door reflected the year 1926; but the clerk on duty had no knowledge of this.
Finally, after a short tour of the place, I ordered my espresso. The order was placed immediately, and I was given a container with white sugar to sweeten it to my liking. However, I decided to drink it without added sugars, and enjoy the taste of the precious liquid with all my senses.

I really like this place and especially the old things you can see, I loved the old lamp. It's nice to see places like this with decoration that attracts attention.
Thanks for sharing your coffee experience.
Happy Saturday.
I also really liked those decorative details, I like places with some point of distinction, and in this case the decoration was, plus the coffee was delicious. Thanks to you for reading 🥰

The place looks great to treat yourself to a cup of coffee and it sounds interesting that you can pay at HBD . Happy evening 🌹🌷🪷🪻🌸🌼🌺💐💮🌻🥀☘️
It is the first place I have visited that you can make payments in HBD, it was a pleasant surprise. I have to find out what other places there are with this possibility
What a cute location! I can understand the curiosity around the door- what was it put there for?! hehe
As for the espresso, I relate to forgoing the sugar too— I love a pure espresso myself as well 😍
Kindred coffee spirits here it seems 😄
It has become a habit for me to drink my coffee without sugar, and not only that, I prefer the rest of my drinks that way as well. My palate feels totally at ease that way.
I love sharing with people with my coffee tastes, I feel like we are connected somehow 😉.
I appreciate the comment and support 🤍
Thank you so much for your support 🥰
These weather changes are a total chaos here in my area and suddenly you get a downpour with the sun and everything outside.
It would be good that all the employees of an establishment know the origin of the names of the places and more if it is something historical.
Coffee will always be a good option to enjoy and relax.
I am of the same opinion, the employees should master these types of topics related to the establishment and that any customer can ask at any time, it would show more sense of belonging. However, they managed to make up for that lack with excellent service and spectacular coffee.
Thank you for your comment dear @sidalim88 🤍

Ok @travelfeed
Hello.
I associate rainy afternoons with freshly brewed coffee, I don't know why... 😂 here in Venezuela it has also been raining a lot....
This coffee shop you show us looks very cool and cozy. I like that they accept hbd; it's easier for us to pay....
The coffee looked super good and I'm sure it tasted even better.....
Kisses 😘
The same thing happens to me: rain=coffee; it is an automatic association. I think it is doubly enjoyable to drink it while feeling the sound of the rain. Thanks for reading, it was a pleasure to see your comment @yris89 🥰
Even though it was just two minute read on this post. I was taken on a virtual trip in my mind. I could actually picture you walking down a street getting into the coffee shop. I hope you soon come to know little details on the year and its connection. Hoping you meet the owner very soon who could probably tell you more about it.🥰☕️
You can't imagine the satisfaction it gives me that you have experienced all those sensations with me. Your comment inspires me to continue sharing what I experience. Thank you @coffeenlove 🥰
The place is very cozy, recently our friends from HiveCuba met there, I would like to know it and enjoy an espresso and pay in hbd, Best regards🌼🤗
It is an excellent meeting place for all Cubans who belong to Hive. Thank you for your comment dear @mayramalu 🥰
Keep up the good work. 👏🎵
Dear beloved Hive creator,
Coding poet Gudasol here to support you sharing your art + life on Hive.
As a fellow creator, I know how hard it is to get the word out there.
I built cXc.world to help creators like us get more support from the blockchain community + beyond.
Share your music on cXc.world, and copy the Markdown for a easy post includes embedded players for Spotify, Youtube, Soundcloud.
That way, you can earn HIVE + stack streams on centralized platforms, as they do still matter.
Not a music creator? No problem. You can still use cXc.world to find + share music you love.
What's next?
Preview the next evolution of cXc, Tetra.earth.
Expose local music from your area!
We're helping grassroots musicians, and you can too by adding their music (no sign up or WAX account required).

Bad news: Saying see you later to Hive! 👋
We didn't get the needed support to continue cXc.world on Hive, as our DHF proposal lacked votes, but [Good News Everyone] cXc.world will add a Markdown copy button, allowing you to easily share your music + music you find on Hive.
For now, we're on WAX, with tools you can use to mint your own Music/Media NFT collection.
