Waffle Day! Waffle Günü [EN-TR]
Hello my friends, I hope you are having a good day. I haven't been able to get out much lately because I've been busy with things I have to do in Hive, work routine and the fact that I don't have many friends in this city right now. Last week my cousin called me and asked me if I wanted to meet up and I said yes, because going out and walking around is definitely good for you.
We went out and we looked for somewhere to eat because I was hungry. There was a new place that had just opened and the prices were reasonable. They were cooking chicken on tiles. I ordered it because I hadn't eaten anything like that for a long time. What I ate was really great. I am very lucky that the city I live in has one of the best cuisines in my country. Moreover, I had doubts about whether I would be full before I ate it, but it was quite filling. The bread was soft and the fries were delicious. My cousin only drank coke because she wasn't hungry. While we were eating, we chatted and she told me about how school was going, her friends and so on. Everyone has different problems. I gave her some advice, because that's what big brothers do.
After we ate, we took a walk and looked for a place to have a nice dessert. Waffles might be @takuri's favorite dessert but they are one of my favorites too. I can't say it's the best because baklava is a different level but I can say it's my favorite except baklava. Because while you are eating dessert, you are also eating fruit. How many desserts have this? As far as I know, only one and that is waffles. There used to be waffle shops that I used to go to very often but they all closed down. Because waffles are not something people prefer frequently. Maybe it is not very profitable either. Even shops with customers like me are closing lol.
We both ordered different waffles and she had a few forks of mine and I had a few forks of her waffle. Mine was colorful. It had banana, kiwi and strawberry. I think there should be more fruit options when making waffles. I want 5 different fruits not 3! My cousin chose pineapple, banana and strawberries. Her waffle was also delicious, but it had a different flavor because I created my own waffle. Waffles always remind me of the good old days. I feel happy.
After eating waffles, we took a long walk. We walked for more than 1 hour. After all, we don't want what we eat to turn into weight. After we finished the day, I realized how relaxing these walks, hanging out and chatting with someone can be. Yes, I love being alone, but I can get bored when I go out alone. It's more enjoyable to walk around with someone.

Selam dostlarım, umarım iyi bir gün geçiriyorsunuzdur. Bu aralar pek dışarı çıkamıyordum çünkü yoğun bir tempodaydım. Hive'da yapmam gereken şeyler, çalışma rutini ve bu şehirde şu anda çok arkadaşım olmaması bu sebeplerden bazıları. Geçen hafta kuzenim aradı ve buluşmak isteyip istemediğimi sordu ve ben de evet dedim. Çünkü dışarı çıkmak, dolaşmak kesinlikle insana iyi geliyor.
Dışarı çıktık ve ben aç olduğum için yemek yiyecek bir yerlere baktık. Yeni açılan bir yer vardı ve fiyatları da uygundu. Kiremitte tavuk pişiriyorlarmış. Uzun zamandır böyle bir şey yemediğim için sipariş ettim. Yediğim şey gerçekten harikaydı. Yaşadığım şehir ülkemin en güzel mutfaklarından birine sahip olduğu için çok şanslıyım. Üstelik yemeden önce doyup doymayacağıma dair şüphelerim vardı ama oldukça doyurucuydu da. Ekmekler yumuşacıktı ve patates kızartması da lezzetliydi. Kuzenim aç olmadığı için sadece kola içti. Yemeği yerken de onunla sohbet ettik ve bana okulun nasıl gittiğinden arkadaşlarından falan bahsetti. Herkesin farklı problemleri var. Ona bazı tavsiyelerde bulundum. Sonuçta büyük abiler böyle yapar.
Yemeğimizi yedikten sonra yürüyüş yaptık ve güzel bir tatlı yemek için bir yer aradık. Waffle @takuri'nin en sevdiği tatlı olabilir ama benim de favorilerimden biri. En iyisi olduğunu söyleyemeyeceğim çünkü baklava farklı bir seviye ama baklava dışında favorim diyebilirim. Çünkü tatlı yerken aynı zamanda meyve yiyorsunuz. Kaç tane tatlıda bu var? Bildiğim kadarıyla 1 o da waffle. Eskiden çok sık gittiğim waffle dükkanları vardı ama hepsi kapandı. Çünkü waffle insanların sıkça tercih ettiği bir şey değil. Belki çok karlı bir şey de değildir. Benim gibi müşterisi olan dükkanlar bile kapanıyor lol.
İkimiz de farklı waffle sipariş ettik ve o benimkinden birkaç çatal aldı ben de onunkinden. Benimki rengarenkti. Muz, kivi ve çilek vardı. Waffle yaparken daha çok meyve seçeneği olması gerektiğini düşünüyorum. Ben 5 farklı meyve istiyorum 3 değil! Kuzenim de ananas, muz ve çilek tercih etti. Onun ki de çok lezzetliydi ama ben kendi waffleımı oluşturduğum için farklı bir lezzete sahipti. Waffle bana hep eski güzel günleri hatırlatıyor. Kendimi mutlu hissediyorum.
Waffle yedikten sonra uzun bir yürüyüş yaptık. 1 saatten fazla yürüdük. Sonuçta bu yediklerimizin kiloya dönüşmesini istemeyiz. Günü bitirdikten sonra bu yürüyüşlerin, dışarıda takılmanın ve biriyle sohbet etmenin insanı ne kadar rahatlattığını fark ettim. Evet, yalnız olmaya bayılıyorum ama dışarıya tek başıma çıktığımda sıkılabiliyorum. Birileriyle dolaşmak daha keyifli.

The food may look big in the photo but in real life it really wasn't that big. But it was delicious, I crave it when I talk about it XD

Having virtual friends is so much fun but, we need to have a friend nearby to take us out for a walk and disconnect us from the virtual for a while.
