Hello Hive Gaming followers, hello from a warm evening, the weather is very favorable for rebuilding and today we will go to Rome, Italy. The Rome football team is called AS Roma but today we'll just call them Roma. Roma is one of the biggest teams in Italy. And yet it's very sad that Roma hasn't won the championship for 20 years. Just like Arsenal which I rebuilt before. Big team but they can't win trophies. Today we will change that and bring trophies to Roma. Let's start!

                         A spoiler from first season

Our rebuild will take 2 seasons because Roma doesn't have top level players. Our goal in the first season is to qualify for the Champions League in the league and in Europe to win the UEFA Europa Conference League (UECL) like Roma did this year. This team needed a lot of transfers and I chose the 3-5-1-1 system because I didn't want to play with the formation too much and also because it suits the star players in the team. We needed CB, MDO and wingers. Here are the transfers I made in the first season:

Kessie's contract expires next season so we bought him really cheap and we needed an experienced player with a habit of winning trophies and that was Neuer.

I tried to sell all the players who were not improving and could not be top class.

Totti was a very loyal player for this team and I think Zaniolo could be the next Totti.

In the winter transfer window, I made transfers for the substitutes on the wings and the goalkeeper.

Our UECL group was very easy and we finished 1st. We lost one game and we shouldn't have lost even that.

Our opponent in Round 16 was Stade Rennes and I think they were not an easy opponent. But my team showed how easily they were beaten.

In the quarterfinals we were paired with Real Sociedad, one of the 2 most difficult teams in the tournament. Especially Oyarzabal and Isak were scaring me a lot, but thanks to the first game which we won 1-0 at home we made it through and I took a deep breath.

Our opponent in the semi-finals was FC København. I thought they were an easy opponent, but look at this result. I will never underestimate a semifinal opponent from now on.

We made it all the way to the UECL final. Ever since I saw them in the quarter-finals, I predicted them to be our possible opponent in the final. Tottenham is probably the strongest team in this tournament. We won this trophy in real life, so I was really looking forward to winning this trophy.
Tottenham started the match very well. I must say we couldn't even touch the ball. But in the 44th minute, Pellegrini reversed everything.

From then on, we fended off their attacks and won the game 1-0.

It was a perfect moment. It took a lot of pressure off me and I celebrated the trophy with my players.

Before we could rest, we went to the Coppa Italia final and our opponent was Inter. It was a very balanced match and we succeeded in winning 2-1.

After our successful performance, let's go back to the league and check how we performed there.

We finished 3rd in the league but I'm going to ask you to look at the match schedule on the right side. If we had won that game against Napoli, we would have been champions. It's really sad.

We didn't do very well in the top scorer category.

Even though we didn't qualify this year, let's see who won the Champions League.

Our top scorer is Zaniolo. I'll call him baby Totti 🤣.

The player we signed from Bayern Munich has made incredible progress this season and has become our most valuable player.

To summarize the season, we won 2 trophies and finished the league in a way to go to the champions league. Of course it would have been better if we were champions but I think we did a great performance. The improvement of our players is also great. We even have players who have exceeded their potential.

Season 2

At the start of the 2nd season I realized that we didn't lack any starters in the squad, we just need better players as substitutes.

But even before the transfers we had a cup final called Supercoppa Italiana because we won the Coppa Italia last season. Our opponent was the league champions Juventus and unfortunately they beat us.

Let's skip that for now and focus on transfers, we have a long season ahead of us. Here are the transfers I made this season:

Our Champions League group was not difficult and we finished 1st. Our Round 16 opponent was Porto and we eliminated them.

In the quarterfinals we had the most exciting match of our career. We lost the first match 0-1 at home to Manchester City and I was in despair. I started to watch the simulation of the 2nd match. We started the match fast and in the 36th minute we were already 0-2 up with Camavinga's goal.

In the 59th minute Sterling made it 1-2 and they started to play with a lot of pressing.

The game went into extra time and both teams scored one goal each. Then the match went to penalties. I was very excited watching it and with them missing 2 penalties, we were the ones to advance. It was an epic moment.

Our opponent in the semi-final was Liverpool. The first match ended 1-1 away. Now they were coming to the Stadio Olimpico and we gave them no chance.

In the Champions League final, I don't know if it ever happened but we were paired with Inter. 2 Italian teams. We totally dominated the match and won 4-1. It was a dream night for Italy and we were the heroes.

After this great success, I realized that we were eliminated by Napoli in the Coppa Italia and it really pissed me off. They became our biggest enemy.

We finished 3rd in the league and guess who came 2nd. Napoli of course 😤.

In the top scorer's table, Tammy Abraham had a good performance but he became second.

Let's take a look at the team stats and the end of season squad.

Abraham is the top scorer with 35 goals.

Zaniolo is our assist king with 13 assists and together with Abraham they contributed a total of 84 points.

Our most valuable player was Zaniolo who proved that he can be the new Totti if he spends many years here.

All our players have improved very well, but I was especially surprised with Kessie, because in Fifa his potential is 86, but as you can see he has improved to 91 rating.

If we make a general evaluation for our career; we won 2 trophies in Europe, 1 Coppa Italia and we finished 3rd in the league 2 times. I was sad that we couldn't reflect our success in Europe to the league. In 2 years we brought 11 top level (85+ rating) players to Roma.
