Last Week's Recap

Last week we talked about how advertising affects us. When I think about it, the first thing that comes to my mind is Coca Cola. When I crave for a Coke or someone mentions Coke to me, the first thing that comes to my mind is the Coca Cola brand. Because this brand has made successful advertisements in Turkey for years and has gained an important place in this sector. Then @felixxx gave a great example about this. A brand called Zepter is a brand of its own country, but it is much more popular in another country and people love it. He said that a lot of people love it just because it is Zepter. Advertising affects us a lot less than it used to because we used to watch TV and we used to actually watch the ads there. Now people watch a lot less TV and they treat the ads on Youtube or other sites as "fuck off". After talking about this, I taught some Turkish words to my friends again. @manclar wanted to learn some interesting words and I didn't break him. What words? You would have learned them if you were on the show... What will we talk about this week?

So this week we are going to talk about a very important topic for me. Breakfast culture varies from country to country. In some countries it's a donut, in some countries it's an omelette, in some countries it's an omelette, in some countries it's not very important and some countries don't even have breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day for me, if I have a good breakfast I have a great start to the day and if I don't have a good breakfast I have a terrible day. I would like to know what you think about this and your breakfast culture. More than anything, it might help us to get to know each other better. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I will end my friendship with people who don't like breakfast haha. And if this topic hasn't caught your attention, join the show and talk about what you want to talk about. We can talk about it. Also, as usual, you can learn some Turkish words after the show. I guess that's a nice bonus 😅

Our show will be in Turkish, but we welcome users from all countries. We had a lot of foreign participants in the past weeks and they made the show more fun. Geçen Haftanın Özeti

Geçen hafta reklamların bizi nasıl etkilediğine dair konuştuk. Ben konu üzerine düşününce aklıma ilk olarak Coca Cola geliyor. Canım kola içmek istediğinde ya da biri bana koladan bahsettiğinde aklıma önce Coca Cola markası geliyor. Çünkü bu marka Türkiye'de yıllarca başarılı reklamlar yaptı ve kendine bu sektörde önemli bir yer edindi. Daha sonra @felixxx bu konuda harika bir örnek verdi. Zepter adında bir marka kendi ülkesinin markası olmasına rağmen başka bir ülkede çok daha popüler ve insanlar ona bayılıyor. Sırf Zepter olduğu için bir sürü insanın ona bayıldığını söyledi. Reklamlar eskiye kıyasla bizi çok daha az etkiliyor çünkü eskiden TV izlerdik ve orada reklamları gerçekten izlerdik. Şimdi insanlar çok daha az TV izliyor ve Youtube ya da başka sitelerde çıkan reklamlara "defol" muamelesi yapıyorlar. Bu konuyu konuştuktan sonra yine arkadaşlarıma bazı Türkçe kelimeler öğrettim. @manclar bazı ilginç kelimeler öğrenmek istedi ve onu kırmadım. Hangi kelimeler mi? Şova katılsaydınız öğrenirdiniz... Bu Hafta Ne Konuşacağız?

Pekala bu hafta benim için çok önemli bir konu üzerine konuşacağız. Kahvaltı kültürü ülkeden ülkeye değişiyor. Bazı ülkelerde bir donut, bazı ülkelerde omlet yapılıyor, bazı ülkeler ise kahvaltıya çok önem vermiyor ve hatta kahvaltı yapmıyor bile. Kahvaltı benim için günün en önemli öğünü, iyi bir kahvaltı yaptıysam güne mükemmel başlarım ve yapmadıysam günüm berbat geçer. Sizin bu konuda ne düşündüğünüzü ve kahvaltı kültürünüzü merak ediyorum. Her şeyden öte bu birbirimizi daha iyi tanımamız konusunda yardımcı olabilir. Yanlış anlamayın, kahvaltı sevmeyenlerle arkadaşlığımı bitireceğim demiyorum haha. Ve eğer bu konu dikkatinizi çekmediyse şova katılın ve konuşmak istediğiniz konudan bahsedin. Üzerine konuşabiliriz.
