Hello movie lovers, today I'm going to share with you my thoughts on Deep Fear, a movie I saw a few weeks ago. I usually share my thoughts on movies a few days after I've seen them, but I wanted to try this way to see how it would feel to write a review after more time has passed. Get the popcorn ready!

I will start with a brief mention of the acting in the movie, there is no standout acting in the movie, but it would be unfair to say that they are bad actors. If there is one good actress, I would say Macarena Gómez. The genre of the movie is horror and thriller. You can call it a classic shark movie, but we'll talk about how successful it is in a moment.

After this part, there are some spoilers but not enough to prevent you from watching the movie as in my other posts. In the movie, our main character Naomi is sailing on a ship alone and everything is going well when a storm warning comes and she changes her route a little bit and continues. On her way, she sees two people in the water asking for help and decides to take them on board. Feminism aside, if you are a woman sailing alone in the ocean or at sea, don't try to help a man and a woman alone. And you don't need to do that if their situation doesn't look that bad. Just call the coast guard and tell them to hold on, that's all. Of course, this is not how the story unfolds and Naomi rescues these two people and takes them on board her ship.

Once they are dried off and out of danger, it turns out that these two siblings are not the friendliest of people. It turns out that they were shipping drugs and their ship sank. Right where they are. Naomi is asked to dive in and bring the drugs aboard. Then somehow they're going to get the ship to where the shipment is going to be made and they're going to free Naomi. Really, does anyone still believe that lie? It's the most obvious lie in movies. Would someone who has already killed other people on the ship because they found out about the shipment just let you go?

Anyway, somehow Naomi is convinced and they dive in, but getting the drugs upstairs is not that easy. As if that wasn't enough, there's also the threat of sharks, which makes everything more difficult. And this shark, like a vulture, never leaves the ship and never gives Naomi a chance to dive. Of course, there are many different problems in this process. For example, Naomi cannot reach her boyfriend and cannot call for help.

While things are going on like this, a storm comes and Naomi is stranded on the boat with 2 drug smugglers. She remembers the stormy days she used to have with her father. At this point, I have to admit that I got a little emotional. So do you think Naomi will be able to dive and get the drugs out? Or will she be able to get away from these bad people? If yes, how? All you have to do to find out is to watch the movie because I won't spoil it too much!

The first thing to take away from the movie is that no matter how skilled a sailor you are, don't go out alone and as I said above, never just help people you don't know. Especially if you are alone! If it's children, if it's a pregnant woman, if it's an elderly person, things are different, I don't want to be misunderstood, I hope you know what I mean. You never know where life will take you, something bad can happen to you at any moment, but seeking unnecessary adventures like this woman did can put you in a worse situation.

If I have to rate the movie, I give it 5.5 out of 10. Honestly, I didn't like it very much, but I watched it with my friend and he loves this kind of movies. That's why I didn't turn off the movie lol. If you want to watch a shark movie and something mediocre is enough for you then you can choose it. There is nothing to surprise you in the story line, you can predict what is going to happen.

Filmdeki oyunculuklara kısa bir değinerek başlayacağım, filmde öne çıkan bir oyunculuk yok ama kötü oyuncular olduklarını söylersem haksızlık etmiş olurum. Feminizm bir kenara ancak okyanusta ya da denizde açılan tek başınıza bir kadınsanız bir erkek ve kadına tek başınıza yardım etmeye çalışmayın. Üstelik durumları o kadar da kötü görünmüyorsa bunu yapmanıza hiç gerek yok. Sadece sahil güvenliği arayın ve dayanmalarını söyleyin hepsi bu. Üstelik bu köpek balığı bir akbaba gibi asla geminin etrafını terk etmiyor ve Naomi'ye dalış fırsatı vermiyor. Elbette bu süreçte çok farklı problemler de yaşanıyor. Örneğin Naomi erkek arkadaşına bir türlü ulaşamıyor ve yardım çağıramıyor.

Olaylar bu şekilde devam ederken fırtına geliyor ve Naomi teknede 2 uyuşturucu kaçakçısıyla birlikte mahsur kalıyor. Eskiden babasıyla yaşadığı fırtınalı günleri hatırlıyor. Bu noktada biraz duygulandığımı itiraf etmeliyim. Peki sizce Naomi, dalış yapıp uyuşturucuyu çıkarabilecek mi? Ya da bu kötü insanların elinden kurtulabilecek mi? Cevabınız evetse nasıl? Bütün bunları öğrenmek için tek yapmanız gereken şey, filmi izlemek çünkü o kadar da spoiler vermeyeceğim!

Filmden çıkaracağınız ilk şey ne kadar usta bir denizci olursanız olun tek başınıza açılmayın ve yukarıda da söylediğim gibi asla tanımadığınız insanlara öylece yardım etmeyin. Özellikle de yalnızsanız! Eğer çocuklarsa, hamile bir kadınsa, bir yaşlıysa işler değişir, bu konuda yanlış anlaşılmak istemem, umarım ne demek istediğimi anlamışsınızdır. Hayatın sizi nereye götüreceği hiç belli olmayan bugünlerde her an başınıza kötü bir şey gelebilir ama bu kadının yaptığı gibi gereksiz macera aramak sizi daha kötü duruma sokabilir.

Filmi puanlamam gerekirse 10 üzerinden 5.5 veriyorum. Açıkçası çok sevmedim ancak arkadaşımla izledim ve o bu tarz filmleri çok seviyor. Bu yüzden filmi kapatmadım lol. Eğer bir köpek balığı filmi izlemek istiyorsanız ve vasat bir şeyler sizin için yeterliyse o zaman tercih edebilirsiniz. Hikaye örgüsünde sizi şaşırtacak hiçbir şey yok, olacakları önceden tahmin edebiliyorsunuz.
