Dentro de la comisaría en un cuarto de interrogación en Manchester, Inglaterra se encuentra nuestro protagonista, el señor Alan Turing el cual está "siendo" interrogado por el policía que entra pero no será así, ya que Alan se interpone mucho antes que el policía diga algo y dirá todo lo que necesita, podría necesitar o no necesitar, pero estará sujeto siempre a sus objeciones y solo si no lo interrumpe y no hace preguntas, básicamente le dice que él será el interrogado; mientras esto pasa se corre la voz por varios lugares de que el profesor de Cambridge Alan Turing está preso.

Yendo a la realidad, se baja un policía en la casa de Alan porque aparentemente hubo una disputa la noche pasada o lo que parece ser un robo pero lo curioso es que no le falta nada, al querer respuestas de Alan este no les responde ni les da importancia, es más, les pide que se vayan de una forma muy altanera cabe destacar, esto es precedido por los oficiales en sentido de que solo necesitan que les expliqué un poco para buscar un culpable pero Alan ni pensándolo, les dijo que no lo encontrarán ni aunque lo tengan al frente y les escupiera en la cara que solo hagan su informe y se vayan. De igual forma ya los oficiales querían irse, el policía que se bajo le dice a otro que esto es lo más sospechoso ya que si no quieres a la policía tras de ti está es la manera de alejarlos pero al otro no le parece nada.

Ha pasado un tiempo y la segunda guerra mundial ha estallado, el éxodo masivo de personas para salvar a sus hijos de la guerra es increíble, mientras eso sucede Alan va en tren hacia cierto lugar que pasados varias paradas y vistas de muchos niños migrando; llegamos a lo que parece ser una mansión que en realidad es una fábrica de radios, que tiene mucha seguridad, esta aparentemente tomada por la fuerza naval, ya que Alan al entra llega directamente a la oficina de un capitán al mando. Está ahí para ser entrevistado por el, para descifrar mensajes alemanes pero al tener un comportamiento peculiar hace molestar al capitán el cual de una forma nada pacífica se entera que Alan tampoco sabe hablar alemán, el cual es un requisito indispensable ya que justamente es el idioma objetivo, Alan solo se justifica con que es un muy buen matemático y le gustan los crucigramas, acertijos, adivinanzas y que eso será suficiente. Mientras el capitán busca como botarlo de su oficina Alan se limita a decir "enigma" para que tenga toda su atención y explicarle que sabe todo.

Alan quiere estar en el equipo para resolver a enigma, la máquina codificada que usan los alemanes para enviar sus mensajes, el que descifre a enigma hará la guerra ciertamente mucho más corta es lo único que desea alan, poder descifrar enigma ya que la cantidad de personas que ha roto enigma es impresionante, muchas nacionalidades, muchos talentos nadie pudo, así que dejó claro que él podrá hacerlo, el capitán acepta que podría ser beneficioso para el programa así que lo hace entrar.

Dentro de una oficina les explica a varios candidatos junto a Alan que la máquina enigma descifra los códigos enviados, cientos de mensajes son interceptados pero ninguno puede ser descifrado si no pasan por enigma, la cual tiene 159 trillones posibles de combinaciones y la combinación se cambia todos los días a las 12, eso quiere decir que cuentan con un margen de 18 horas todos los días, para conocer la clave.

Esta película es muy interesante a la par de entretenida, cada vez te engancha más y más, es muy recomendable si necesitas distraerte un buen rato, además que cuenta con unas historias alternas muy increíbles.

Some time has passed and the second world war has broken out, the massive exodus of people to save their children from the war is incredible, while that happens Alan goes by train to a certain place that has several stops and views of many children migrating; we arrive at what appears to be a mansion that is actually a radio factory, which has a lot of security, is apparently taken by the naval force, as Alan enters and arrives directly to the office of a captain in command. He is there to be interviewed by him, to decipher German messages but his peculiar behavior annoys the captain who, in a not very peaceful way, finds out that Alan does not know how to speak German either, which is an indispensable requirement since it is precisely the target language, Alan only justifies himself with the fact that he is a very good mathematician and likes crossword puzzles, riddles and guessing games and that this will be enough. While the captain is looking for a way to kick him out of his office Alan just says "riddle" to get his full attention and explains that he knows everything.

Alan wants to be on the team to solve enigma, the coded machine that the Germans use to send their messages, whoever deciphers enigma will certainly make the war much shorter is all Alan wants, to be able to decipher enigma as the amount of people who have broken enigma is impressive, many nationalities, many talents no one could, so he made it clear that he will be able to do it, the captain agrees that it could be beneficial to the program so he gets him in.

Inside an office he explains to several candidates along with Alan that the enigma machine deciphers the codes sent, hundreds of messages are intercepted but none can be deciphered if they do not pass through enigma, which has 159 trillion possible combinations and the combination is changed every day at 12 o'clock, that means they have a margin of 18 hours every day, to know the key.

This movie is very interesting as well as entertaining, each time you get more and more hooked, it is highly recommended if you need to distract yourself for a while, it also has some incredible alternate histories.
