En España en el año 1519 un caballero se propone a conquistar una nueva tierra en nombre de España, aclamado por la multitud nos muestran a nuestros protagonistas jugando a los dados, los más perseguidos Miguel y Tulio; ya le han quitado toda su fortuna a un marinero en el juego pero este exige una partida más aunque nuestros intrépidos no lo desean ya que el marinero no tiene nada más que apostar pero este, saca de algún lugar de su cuerpo un mapa enorme del mundo exterior, un mapa para supuestamente llegar al dorado… (lo cual deja varias cosas que pensar y es: como lo obtuvo, por que no lo está usando y por qué rayos apostaría eso; no nos desviemos). Tulio queda fascinado y le ruega a Miguel que acepte pero Miguel por el contrario está muy apurado de irse que ya que los dados que tenían estaban un poco trucados pero eso no fue impedimento para que fueran por todo o nada y aceptan pero el marinero les dio dos dados nuevos y sin chistar aceptaron; ganaron por pura suerte y se quedaron con el mapa pero al agarrarlo se caen los dados malos y queda en evidencia su tramposeria, empiezan a correr por todo el lugar hasta caer en dos barriles de agua para esconderse, de ahí son transportados por accidente en un barco carguero.

Después de un tiempo pueden salir de su escondite pero ya muy tarde para darse cuenta que no están en tierra firme sino de camino en el barco del caballero del principio que iba a nuevas tierras, son aprisionados y el caballero fue bastante claro con sus polizones; serán azotados y aprisionados, al llegar a cuba en busca de provisiones serán azotados de nuevo y vendidos como esclavos (bastante fuerte a decir verdad). Son encerrados durante un tiempo hasta que Tulio convence al caballo del caballero que le traiga las llaves por una manzana y este acepta de forma misteriosa.

Pasa un momento y logran salir gracias al extraño e inteligente caballo, buscan como irse en un bote de emergencia y el caballo relincha y relincha pero ellos yéndose no se dan cuenta que no pagaron el trato hasta que la manzana cae al agua y esta hace que el caballo se lance y Tulio bajo presión lo persigue para rescatarlo pero hace perder la sincronía bajando el bote y Miguel cae con el bote directo al mar; de alguna forma u otra logran recobrar la compostura y montan a caballo y todo solo para notar que el caballo se comió sus provisiones.

Navegan durante un tiempo y se enfrentan a todo tipo de circunstancias marítimas divagando y alucinando llegan sin pensar a tierra firme donde besan todo el suelo hasta que de pronto ven un esqueleto que los hace querer huir pero Tulio vio más allá y coinciden algunas cosas con el mapa pero Miguel y el caballo totalmente indispuestos, son llevados a una red de convencimiento por Tulio que los arrolló y se los lleva. Durante días buscan y buscan hasta que encuentran una roca enorme tallada que Miguel le echa en cara a Tulio y este no lo quiere creer pero Miguel se lo trata de llevar a la fuerza cuando una joven viene corriendo siendo perseguida por indígenas y ahí se encuentran todos, son acorralado y llevados a algún lugar pero mientras se van, el sol baja y toca la cima de la piedra y está, es de color dorado…

They sail for a while and face all kinds of maritime circumstances rambling and hallucinating they arrive without thinking to land where they kiss all the ground until suddenly they see a skeleton that makes them want to flee but Tulio saw further and match some things with the map but Miguel and the horse totally indisposed, they are taken to a convincing net by Tulio who overwhelms them and takes them away.
