What I learnt from the 13th episode of the study of our Lord Jesus Christ (indoctrination) yesterday.

Many Christian including me have somehow fallen into idolatry in several ways unknowingly, not directly bowing down to idols but eating or practicing false religious beliefs in the church.

I really thank God for a platform like the #MCGI. I have benefited spiritual and mentally on this platform, several knowledge about the doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ God showed to me through his savant pastor Eli. There are things in the Bible I wouldn't have learnt till Jesus comes because of my too busy schedule in search of money to pay my bills, about 80 percent of Christians pay less attention in study the word of God due to the situation the find themselves at that period

One of them is eating from the opposite religion. I have some close friends and neighbors from the opposite religion in my community, and most times during festive period I normally join them to celebrate and also eat their food, and during our festive period as Christans they also join me to celebrate as well, because I thought we serve the same God,

God begat a son, but the god of the opposite religion does not beget anyone, as stated here in their holy book

Wow, I was saved from this yesterday,

Using this chapter as our reference point.

Since we are not serving the same God, and anything that was not done in the name of God is of idol, this was unknown to me, it was a deep research made by God's savant pastor Eli.

I know am forgiving because it was done out of ignorance, many Christian who have no opportunity to hear this like me will still have that false mentality that we serve the same God.

Secondly, I learnt that eating strangled meat (meaning animal that died on their own as a result of disease) is a sin,

From this Bible chapter,

A strangled meat has blood in it
It is most times practice to kill an animal, allow the blood to spill out, cover the blood with dust, prepare the meat before eating, like this

It never occurred to me that it has biblical significance.

Most times people eat strangled animals because they feel that throwing it away is a waste of food.

I visited a friend in my community who is into animal farming, he rears livestock, goats and chickens precisely. The biggest goat in terms of size was sick and eventually died at night, unfortunately when I visited him the next morning he was already preparing the strangled goat with some delicious spices.
He would have being very angry with me if I tell him not to eat without showing him scriptures like this in the Bible, because to was already a lost to him

God commanded us to abstain from blood, blood has spiritual significance

I learnt something yesterday, studying the Bible is not just studying to show-off like other Christians do, we study the Bible to save lives.

As a result yesterday teaching was a blessing to me, I pray that God replenishes his vessel, God servant pastor Eli.
