Vibe Web3 music competition week4 ❣️Hallelujah cover by imasolo
Hello everyone, it's your girl,@imasolo. I am so excited to be here once again for the Vibes Web3 Week 4 music competition.I really want to thank @lordbutterfly for this wonderful and great initiative.
I have participated in week 1,2 and 3. I can tell you that so far I have enjoyed every moment in this community. I have really grown over the past 3 weeks. Meeting great talents here has being refreshing and helpful to me, watching and listening to them makes me see the need for self improvement.
I am singing 'Hallelujah' by Alexandera Burke. She is a super talented singer and her delivery of this song is amazing and captivates the soul. The melody and rhythm is one that makes me appreciate her dexterity. It's one of those songs that is simple but sends a very delicate message.
This song means a lot to me. Reflecting on my life all I can say is Hallelujah. Looking back from where I'm coming from, all I can do is to give praises to God. He has been wonderful to me and my family. He deserves all my worship and adoration. It reminds me that music is divine and has it's healing powers. Anytime I feel down, I play this song and I always feel energized. And I know I can overcome every mountain.
I heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do ya?
Well, it goes like this, the fourth, the fifth
The minor fall and the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah
[Chorus]
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya
She tied you to her kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah
[Chorus]
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
[Bridge]
Maybe there's a God above
But all I've ever learned from love
Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew you
It's not a cry that you hear at night
It's not someone who's seen the light
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
