HOME FAR AWAY FROM HOME
Hello my people of hive, welcome to another edition of hive learners week21 edition 3, thanks to admins and moderators for usual interesting topics, the wisdom will never stop.
As this week topics says "away from home" which we are to share our experience.
I think each and every person has been away from their home either due to one reason or other, some might even be just for holiday sake, but no matter where you went to as long as you Left home maybe for a while or longtime to distant place,it's worth sharing because home is like a comfort zone where you are to be satisfied to your fullest desire.
l happen to hail from a family our parents don't allow us to travel,I have never in any way for any reason left house for a day without coming back to sleep until I got admission into the varsity.
But before that I had always had desire to travel just like my friends do then, you know as a teenager,I was desperate to travel and see how other cities looked like, how travelling inside vehicle will be.
I had never boarded vehicle on my own because my school was very near to my house, it's treklable so I don't bother to take bus.
But I always had the desire to be o my own someday and seep how things are.

The first time I left home was 2014 when I wanted to write JAMB (Joint Matriculation Examination Board),where I was posted to write in another state, which is so far I can't come and go in the same day.
I was advised to go in a day advance, which I did.
The journey was new to me,I saw alot of things which I never seen before, in short I got to the last bus stop which I was already tired and already feeling sick.
I got down as I was confused on where to take vehicle to get to my final destination,I had to call my sister because it was her friend (male) from home I wanted to go and sleep over,it took me alot of timem to finally got there that which even made me so tired abd sick, the stress was too much.
Luckily I finally got to him,but I was already sick, mehn I never knew good people still exists,he really tried for me that I was even speechless on how to thank him,he bought me drugs with his own Money and cooked me a very delicious meal.
Even though his bed was a student bed(a bed for only one person),he had to let me sleep on it, while he went to sleep in his friend room.
After I had rested for a while because I got there early as 11am,I left home as early as 6;30am,you know all those mummy now...lol...
*He woke me up to revise by 6pm while I was okay after the drug and nap,he gave me food again in the evening with drugs too, which really made me okay*.
It was then I started revising and he also taught me mathematics because he was a mathematician, and also some science calculations. After that he then asked me to sleep and wake by 5am to revise again because my exam was 9;00am.
He wasn't doing it for any reward because we were not that financially bouyant and he knew that. His hospitality is so extreme ,I can't measure it,his actions made me know I'm home away from home.
I was happy that I didn't even feel I was away from home,it was a pleasant experience for me that I wish I could be traveling like that everytime, 😂.
He loved me that he even asked me to stay for that day and go back the next day,but my mum won't allow,I had to leave after the exam.
I miss him till today, because we never ar chance to meet again till this moment.
To God's glory that was the only JAMB I did that gave me admission.
what I learnt from the journey
Try to be of kind gesture to people
Never do good in expect of returns
Although no place like home but there are still good people that will make you feel at home
Don't look down on what anyone has to offer because what he taught me within little time really came out in the exam
thanks for viewing this blog 😘😘😘
Good people still exists my dear but it's hard to find one though. That was a rare opportunity you had, feeling comfortable and the guy helping you to revise.
Thanks for sharing.
Our prayers should be that God should make us meet them.
