Go to the lake to eat fish!

Hello friends of the Pinmapple community,

I am posting here the photos I took yesterday at Lake Iseo. I think those of you who follow my posts now understand that it's one of my favorite lakes along with Lake Garda. In the photos I'm about to share, I went there yesterday during the day. I arrived early in the morning because I was afraid of encountering heavy traffic, and I must say it was quite cold as it was only 15 degrees Celsius. It's really strange to find this temperature at Lake Iseo at this time of the year.

After taking a short walk, since it was already lunchtime or approaching noon, I decided to dine at this restaurant I often visit, and I've always had a good experience there. You know that I appreciate good food with quality ingredients. In fact, I had linguine with mushrooms that are foraged in the nearby woods and then a kind of trout that is caught in this lake. Many people may not like lake fish, but in my opinion, sometimes it's even better than sea fish. Finally, I had a dessert from the house, and this lunch, including coffee and drinks, cost me 52 euros, which is a reasonably fair price. Unfortunately, prices in Italy have increased significantly lately due to inflation, especially in the restaurant sector, where this increase is quite noticeable.

Indeed, recently in Italy, but I don't know about the rest of the world, there's a trend of sharing the restaurant bill on social media to protest against this price hike. I don't know what purpose this serves, but I'm certainly noticing that many people are taking advantage of this inflationary period to raise prices.

Then, strangely in the afternoon, the weather changed a lot, and the sun came out, and the temperature rose to almost 28°C. So, I took the opportunity to take a short walk and see people swimming in the lake. I must say, for September, there were quite a few people. It means that many people choose to go on vacation outside the peak season here at the lake.
