IDENTIFY & LIST TASKS
I firstly identify all of the tasks that I have to do weekly or monthly then I list them down on the diary. And, this list is categorised as short-term and long-term tasks. You can use any task management app or software for categorising them if you want.
EVAULATE URGENCY
There are always some tasks that needs to be done urgently or before the other tasks which are least important to do at that time. For example, if you are an influencer and you have to done the tasks related to brands before deadline meets then such tasks should be evaluated on urgent basis to avoid any hassle.
ASSESS IMPORTANCE
The significance and importance of any task is directly connected to your objectives and goals so tasks should be aligned with strategic objectives. Guess the importance of your tasks and give priority accordingly in your to-so list.
PRIORITISATION TECHNIQUES
There are many prioritisation techniques that are being used when you work on the tasks list. Simple numerical or alphabetical ranking methods also used but here I would like to mention two major and important techniques that works good in all way i.e MoSCoW method and Eisenhower Matrix. In the MoSCoW method, tasks are being categorised as Must Do, Should Do, Could Do, and Won't Do while in the Eisenhower Matrix techniques, tasks are categories into four quadrants based on urgency and importance.
REVIEW & ADJUST
We always in need to review and adjust the task list we created because with the time, some tasks are completed and some has changed as per urgency and importance. So, it is always recommending to review your list and adjust accordingly to stay focused and motivated towards your tasks.
In summary, all of the above-mentioned methods are commonly used when creating a task list as per your goals and objectives. Make a task list, prioritise them, evaluate urgency, and review frequently, this is what I have told you above. Good luck with your tasks. May you get completed ASAP. Signing off..
This is a good way of doing our daily based activities. Sometimes I'm even confused which task should be performed first. By making list can clear our priority about certain things. Thank you for sharing this :)
