Hi All,

Sharing my Steem Journey is such a nice feeling that I have while measuring into words though I'm not a wordsmith at all who could shape the words correctly. Here is the Challenge I'm participating is giving me a chance to have a word about how has Steem impacted on my life? The months of my life I spend here were so overwhelming and life-changing, which I never think of.

When & How I came to know about Steem?

It was the night of 21st Dec 2017, the dog was barking in the silent street, everyone was sleeping, but my eyes were burning due to working all day and night on the final project. After some time, I logged into my FB profile to check one of the groups called Blogger Funda that what it is going on there as I was used to checking every now and then. The place where I am getting a nice piece of information related to online earning each day. A group of members was asking to join the Zoom Meeting to discuss the new blogging platform where we can earn money. I accidentally clicked on the meeting link to join so that I can see what's new today in the world of online earning. That meeting was worth millions to attend, which I can never forget till my last breath. I was introduced to the #Steemit platform that night for the very first time. That night was a turning point in my life when I had to find a job for my daily expenses. Steemit the life-changing platform.

Why I decided to join Steem?

The first time when I was introduced to the Steem platform, I decided to create an account to check all of the things inside, then I'll keep continuing using it. It took me 24 hours to begin this Steem journey, and my account got ready to go. After logging into this platform, I came to know how much worth it is, unlike FB. I always much into creativity, and I always wanted my blog where I can share my thoughts daily.

I liked some of the following Steem things:

  • This platform is FREE where you don't need to buy Hosting and Domain. the username is your domain
  • You can write your original content, which lasts forever.
  • Making online connections across the world.
  • More opportunities to get hired as per your skills.
  • More ways to earn money that's what everyone needs and looking for.
  • Your content get real value, unlike any other social platform

I never regret joining this platform as I proved myself here and stayed in this bearish market with firm hopes. One day, this platform will rock more in the crypto world if we keep spreading with people. Still, most of the people are using crap social media platforms, which don't make you earn anything despite having fun. I was also more into FB and Instagram, where I spend many days and months. After joining Steem, I feel so regret that I wasted my precious time out there, where I earned nothing except finding the Steemit platform.

How has Steem impaced my LIFE financially?

To be honest, I'm much satisfied with the earning I'm collecting from here by different means using this platform. I only active here due to some reasons which haven't filled yet, but I'm craving for. The one is I have to manage all of my marriage expenses on my own (that's a wish) by earning from this platform for sure, and I'm waiting for the day when Steem value will rise. Another reason is that I can fulfill my basic needs with this currency.

Overall, I have withdrawn STEEM many many times to fulfill my needs. I purchased Nikon D5000 DSLR for the very first earning from here. This was my real need at that time when I was passionate about clicking fresh shots of floral and birds photography. Even I posted a lot on here as well, and this below shot is one of them. I was so surprised that STEEM made me buy this tech.

Other than that, STEEM helped me to buy my new laptop when the older laptop got damaged due to rainwater. I was so pissed off when I accidentally lost my laptop and I had no way to make posts here except mobile, which is not my first priority for creating online content. Money was the real problem for me as I had to buy the laptop ASAP with my own money. And, I was also able to buy a smartphone when it was hell needed because my iPhone got damaged in late June 2019.

Now, I'm only saving STEEM coins for my marriage, which is supposed to happen in the last of this year. I can only pray and hope for the rising value so I could able to withdraw ASAP.

What I have learned being here?

Honestly speaking, I have learned so many things from being here. The CRYPTOCURRENCY word was unknown to me before joining in. I was so noob who only get to know when the crypto hype was so high in back Dec 2017. It took me months to get familiar with many other crypto-based projects.

Things that impacted being here:

  • I was introduced to so many new crypto-based projects, which I joined and claimed airdrops as well. This platform was the only source to join them and get to know about other platforms.

  • I able to get to know about other cultures which were unknown to me. Extremely happy to see people from every region with different cultures and languages.

  • Trading is the wonderful thing which I came to know and learned how to trade what coins and where. What exchange I have to use for trading and why? All these things I learned from this platform ONLY.

  • I improved my communication skills by talking with so many people on Discord Servers.

  • How much connections are important on this platform? This is what I came to know being here, as I wasn't much into. I have fewer friends in real life.

More things to learn in the future

How was my STEEM Journey so far?

In the beginning, it was so hard to survive here. Many people stopped at a very early stage as they weren't coping with it easily. I stick to this platform because I saw the potential in it. In the first stage, when I was totally newbie, I started commenting on the whales' posts who has nice chunks of SP. The SP was a REAL POWER even still it is the KING. Whales were giving nice upvotes to the good comments, and I always tried to make meaningful comments on any of the STEEM posts. This is how I started to earn some upvotes per day.

Now, I'm earning good by making posts and playing #Splinterlands game where I invested a lot of STEEM so that I could make more STEEM every day. I also have power in different tribes and 5k SP to give votes to other contents. In the starting, I was seeking votes, but now I get a little stable so I can help others.

Why I'll recommend STEEM to others?

I believe in sharing as sharing is caring, then why not share such a fantastic community-based platform to the non-users who are also looking for an authentic platform to earn some handsome money for their future. I'd love to share this platform with others because of 5 main reasons,

  • Self-employment: Most of us don't like 9 to 5 disciplined jobs for some money at the end of the month. Self-employment makes people strong and their own bosses in their fields. Using this platform, we are free to be active whenever we want to. I liked to stay active all day as I don't spend nights working or chatting for no reason. I'm the boss of my own blog where I can say I'm a self-employed who stand-alone with that.

  • Personal Blog: Some people love blogging and vlogging, which they can do on this platform as they have the freedom to speak whatever they want to talk about any of the matters of life. Such people can kickstart blogging freely at no cost.

  • Crypto is FUTURE: Non-crypto users will regret if they don't join in NOW. This is a crypto-empowered platform, which is a FUTURE currency of the whole world. I'm happy that I get started so early w.r.t my country people; this is why I want more people to join in.

  • Social Connectivity: Connections are stronger than anything if you talk about this platform. There is every type of person which you'd love to interact with. I found this community more polite, helpful, and kind to new users. Still, you are responsible for finding the way.

  • STEEM Encylopedia: On this platform, you are supposed to read every type of content that you'd love to read and appreciate. This is an Encyclopedia where I get a lot of information related to cryptocurrency.

Even I bring @lifeskills-tv to this platform recently who is a Director of our Pakistani Local Channel ATV. You'd love to read his content about Pakistan. I'm happy that I bring a MAN who really puts hard efforts to maintain the awesomeness of this platform. More people will come soon

How is STEEM different than other simliar platforms?

#Steemit is one of the wonderful projects in the history of socialism which can never be beaten by any other platforms. I'd rather say that STEEM is the FATHER of all similar projects with respect to earning and strong mechanism. I once joined #Scorum which is a niche-based platform where you can only post sports-related stuff and get voted by the members but I stop using that start focusing only on this platform which is a general-purpose platform where I can speak about any subject.

There are many things which stand out the STEEM but I'm mentioning here only two which is really important making the STEEM more worthy amongst other platforms.

  • The Currency has a REAL USE: Steemit has a STEEM and SBD currency which has a REAL use that can be powered up used as a MINING. Every minute you earn something if you staked STEEM. You can delegate your power to someone in order to earn passive income if you're not making use of it.

  • dApps: You'll get the more exposure of every social media which you already have been using. The dApp @appics gives you a feeling of an Instagram but ultimately you are earning crypto coins. Another most famous dApp is dTube where you create content and publish the videos. There are many more as you know..

That's all for now..
