THAT MEMORABLE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TRIP

For every sweet and bad trip comes a memory with it, Either a happy one or a regretful one

The best thing is making it a sweet one, but then are you in charge when it comes to public transportation?
In fact, sometimes you never see a bad trip coming, you'd probably be in the vehicle and you guys are in motion till problems surfaces and you just know this is one bad trip

Public Transportation has lots of hurdles and likewise the one that involves long travel can be so peaceful and entertaining especially when you travel with jovial people but with all the advantages still come disadvantages

One sweet way to enjoy one's travel over long distance is through making a memorable one with lots of laughs and gist on the bus, else you'd just get bored in the bus and the journey would look longer than the allocated time for it. Though some public transportation can make this visible depending on the type of passengers you become neigh neighbors with through the drive

Makes me remember one very one that lives rent-free in my head

Have always traveled with public transport over a long distance, most of my journeys are always the sweet ones,could be because of the person or people I traveled with or how jovial the driver is

Some drivers would even go to the length of playing songs just to keep us company all through the ride even though sometimes it gets to some genre of music you don't like but what do you do?
You vibe and nod head because you wouldn't have choice and at that particular song could just make a little bit of sense to you at that moment

So this very one I had this impression it was going to be Like the ones have always encountered t but to my greatest surprise it's practically the opposite

I was to go to Auchi a 7 to 8 hours drive from where I was so I got to the park early. Not many people travel that long distance by road so people like me had no choice but to wait till the bus filled up

Eventually, the bus was filled and all of a sudden we noticed these people(drivers) were loading bags of rice in the vehicle to the extent it was so inconvenient for all passengers, the complaint was made and it was reduced but it was still an inconvenience for all passengers

Auchi isn't some close please so if you decide to stay behind and say you are not following this very bus the next turn is going to be the one that travels by night which is dangerous and there's a high probability that the vehicle too would load bags of rice

I was furious, and and immediately knew this journey would be a very bad one for me because how do I sit in a jam-packed vehicle for this long period?

The journey started and we were like 4 hours' drive only for the vehicle tyre to burst in the middle of nowhere all because of the heavy loads of rice
Thank God there was an extra tyre and it was not a place where robbery occurs or maybe we just got saved from robbery by God

We waited for over forty minutes for him to exchange tyre, eventually he did and we moved on, not too long the new one got less and he had to reduce the speed he was driving to locate a vulcanizer. We saw one after so many searches,fixed the tire but couldn't move at high speed because of the fear of the tyre bursting so we waited for another bus at the park for over one hour who was also traveling to offload the rice

It was one hell of a trip from the abrupt stop and challenges faced.
Eventually, I got to my destination around 1 a.m

My family members were all on their toes and worried
they would not stop calling or asking where I was throughout the trip

Thank God we all got to our destination safely
the story would have been different if other things happened and the driver's greed to load rice almost cost us our lives

It was one trip with public transportation that lived rent-free on my head with anger and hate for public transport, which I never would like to experience again
