My participation in the Battle Mage Secrets challenge this week. The condition for this week was the use of the Born Again rule.

Born Again: All units receive the Rebirth ability which allows them to self-resurrect once.

I've been having some bad luck with these weekly challenges lately, just like the previous one. It was challenging to meet this battle condition. After numerous attempts, I often ended up defeated, either due to lack of preparation, opponent strategy, or elemental limitations. I stick to decks in Water, Earth, and Fire, with the rest consisting of basic or obtained monsters from packs and rewards.

While I have Gladius collection monsters on other automated accounts for guild Brawl, unfortunately, they can't be transferred. So, the condition allowing their use wasn't in my favor. I chose Water initially for a strong offense, leveraging Alric Stormbringer with its +1 magical attack bonus for the entire team.

My composition was as follows:

I particularly like Djinn Oshannus as a tank in the front line, even in battles where the opponent doesn't focus on magic. This is due to its high maximum health, considering that magic attackers often lack good resistance. It also has above-average speed, increasing the chances of dodging physical attacks. Wave Brood might not have been a wise choice; I should have tried something with more power instead of a second tank or combo evasion.

Maybe it would be better to exclude Torrent Fiend from this list; it's probably just being used as a one-attack support, sometimes to dodge attacks from monsters with Opportunity or Snipe abilities. The others should only have better attack power. I didn't think it through, and as mentioned in the introduction, this rule condition rarely came up. When it did, it came with additional unfavorable conditions for me.

Unfortunately, as you can see in the screenshot, the opponent managed to diminish all my chances of a possible victory. His team composition was balanced to thwart my magical attack. This battle showed that this condition is excellent for monsters that can grow with the deaths of other monsters, as the bonus is added even after defeating the resurrected monster. I should try this with Scavenger; it might have changed some things.

"A simple note: I also have the monster Jared Scar, but I haven't yet figured out why I haven't used him. He has ideal attributes to capitalize on Bloodlust."

Another point I'd like to address in this battle is the need to sometimes forget a bit about the attack and offensive power of your team. A great example is that my opponent used a strategy that matched his support. In this case, repairing the armor of Adelade Brightwing's ally. As the summoner granted him the Void Armor ability for all his monsters, he could neutralize my magical attacks with just armor, not worrying about low health. After all, that's the main advantage of mages, right? Being able to ignore the high armor of enemies.

Eu estou com um pouco de azar esses dias referente a esses desafios semanais, assim como o anterior, estava difícil obter essa condição em batalha. Depois de inúmeras tentativas eu acabava sendo derrotado após ser selecionado a regra, seja por falta de preparo ou outras limitações como estratégia do oponente, e ou limitações de elementos. Eu apenas mantenho decks em Água, Terra e Fogo. O restante é formada apenas de monstros iniciais ou obtidos de pacotes e recompensas.

Embora eu tenha monstros da coleção Gladius em outras contas automatizadas, para competir em Brawl em guildas, infelizmente não conseguimos transferir as mesmas, então a condição que possibilitava a utilização do mesmo não me era favorável. Resolvi selecionar de primeiro momento o elemento Água, para tentar uma boa ofensiva se aproveitando de Alric Stormbringer com seu bônus de aumentar o ataque mágico de toda a equipe em +1.

Minha composição foi montada da seguinte forma:

Eu gosto particularmente de Djinn Oshannus como um Tanque na linha de frente, mesmo em batalhas quando o oponente não tem um foco mágico. Isso é devido a sua boa quantidade de pontos em saúde máxima, levando em consideração que muitas vezes os atacantes mágicos não podem contar com uma boa resistência. Ele também tem uma velocidade acima da média que lhe permite ter mais chance de desviar de ataques físicos. Wave Brood talvez não foi uma escolha sabia, eu deveria tentar algo com poder em vez de um segundo tanque, ou desvio de combo.

Talvez seria melhor ignorar Torrent Fiend dessa lista, ele provavelmente só esta sendo utilizado como um suporte de um ataque só, as vezes para desviar um ataque de monstros com habilidades Oportunity ou Snipe, apesar que Snipe ainda sim irá focar em monstros mágicos como prioridade. Os demais podem ser e deveriam apenas ter um poder de ataque melhor, eu não pensei direito e como mencionei na introdução da postagem, dificilmente essa condição de regra surgia, e quando surgia era com a adição de outras condições não favoráveis para mim.

Infelizmente como podem notar na captura de imagen, o adversário simplesmente conseguiu diminuir todas minhas chances de uma possível vitória. Toda a equipe dele em composição estava equilibrada para impedir meu ataque mágico. Essa batalha só demonstrou que essa condição é muito boa para monstros que podem crescer com mortes de outros monstros. Já que o bônus é adicionado mesmo após derrotar o mesmo monstro renascido. Eu deveria tentar isso com Scavenger, talvez teria mudado algumas coisas.

"Uma observação simples: Eu também tenho a minha disposição o monstro Jared Scar, mas não entendo ainda por qual motivo eu não tenho o utilizado. Ele contém atributos ideais para se aproveitar com Bloodlust."

Falando nisso, veja como esse monstro cresceu em batalha, e como talvez poderia ser diferente se eu tivesse utilizado o mesmo.

Outro ponto que gostaria de abordar nessa batalha, a necessidade de as vezes esquecer um pouco o ataque e poder ofensivo do seu time, um grande exemplo é que meu adversário utilizou uma estratégia que combinasse com seu suporte. No caso a habilidade de reparar a armadura do aliado de Adelade Brightwing. Como o invocador lhe concedeu a habilidade Void Armor para todos os monstros dele, ele conseuia neutralizar o ataque dos meus mágicos apenas com a armadura, não se preocupando com a saúde baixa. Afinal esse é a maior vantagem de magos não é? Conseguir ignorar a alta armadura dos inimigos.
