No Victories Today for Food Chain Users - Gameplay Aggro Nature vs Food Chain Nature [EN/PT]

📝 English Version

I should thank @davot for sharing great tips in the Gods Unchained community. This time, I was already prepared to face the addictive Food Chain. Right from the start, I figured out what was happening. I don’t know if you do this too, but I always study the most popular strategies before diving into any match. When I saw my opponent’s first moves, the alert signal went off: Food Chain detected.

You can check his latest post about it here: THE RETURN OF THE FOOD CHAIN😍

One thing I learned from playing with Aggro Nature is that tribes are everything.

In my case, the Amazons were the ones I used the most, with interesting creatures to play. This deck isn’t just about attacking fast and ending the game quickly. It’s about growth, about synergy. Each Amazon could add a buff, either by increasing attack or health, just by being in battle.

Each turn, I added more sequences of Amazons, making the board increasingly threatening. Some gained attack, others gained health.

But let’s be honest here.

Arkmonian Onslaught was the real MVP of this match. You should watch the video I highlighted earlier. If you don’t know it, this spell gives +3 attack and Twin Strike to all Amazons on the field. It’s almost unfair. Almost, I’d say. For my opponent, not for me.

I was lucky to draw this card at the right moment. Despite my constant pressure, Food Chain was already set up, and he was about to unleash devastating damage on the next turn.

This guy wasn’t playing around.

Food Chain is a strategy centered around sacrificing Wild creatures and summoning better creatures endlessly, one after another, like a monster factory. The idea is to wear you down until you have nothing left, while he grows stronger and crushes you slowly. It’s beautiful to watch if you’re not on the receiving end, of course.

But I already knew that.

Every move he made was predictable, almost choreographed. My strategy was simple:

Keep the pressure constant. Don’t give him room to breathe.

While he spent precious turns setting up, I was already ahead, with a board full of buffed creatures ready for battle. I also used a basic but effective tactic, even for an AGGRO deck: board control. Whenever he tried to play something too threatening, I was there to eliminate or neutralize it.

If you’re also struggling with Food Chain Nature, my advice is straightforward: Keep up the aggression. Even knowing that somehow, he will manage to use Food Chain it’s a low-cost spell, and he’ll summon Wilds in large numbers regardless.

The best strategy is to close the gap between your God’s life and your opponent’s. Always keep an option for the final attack.

Aggro Nature, with its tribes, especially the Amazons, is a perfect example of this. If you can keep the board full and save spells like Arkmonian Onslaught for the right moment, your chances of winning are huge.

📝 VersĂŁo em PortuguĂȘs

Eu deveria agradecer a @davot por compartilhar Ăłtimas dicas na comunidade Gods On Chain. Dessa vez eu jĂĄ estava adaptado a conseguir enfrentar a viciante Food Chain.

THE RETURN OF THE FOOD CHAIN😍

Manter a pressão constante.

For an Amazon deck you are using way too many non-Amazon cards.

My suggestion is to try something like this and replace the expensive cards with other, cheaper Amazons.

It’s about growth, about synergy

I agree, once it snowballed it is very hard to stop.
