MCGI CARES LIVE SESSION: 09/05/2022

Good day brethren thanks be to God here is another opportunity to share the word of God and for you to learn from the lessons gained while listening to the word of God with the brethren.

I have learnt that we should not boast about tomorrow for we do not know what tomorrow eill bring, no one knows how tomorrow will be only God can say and predict the future not even the angels or the devil can predict or determine the future.

I also gained that the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ needs a proper preparation, we must be righteous, helping and doing good to people. We should always be prepared and at alert so that the coming of our doesn't meet us or catch us unaware, so we must take a concious effort by preparing our ways for the coming of the Lord is like thief in the night.

The study has met my belief system that the Lord Jesus had already forseen and he has told us emphatically in the scriptures that at the last so many happenings will occur which is happening already like famine calamity nations waging war against one another. One thing i know for sure is that the suffering of this world cannot be compared to the joy and rejoicing in heaven, a glorious ending in eternal glory.

This session has touched me positively about giving and reaching out to the less privileged. If we see our fellowmen hungry or thirsty we should give them food and drink respectively. Our love to God comes first then to our fellowmen.The more we give, the more it comes back to us, because God is the greatest giver in the universe.

God’s Word has given ne insight into His heart for the poor and instruction on how we are to care for them. If we truly have faith in Jesus, we must also share His concern for the poor. Jesus commanded us to love one another. And what better way to demonstrate the love and kindness and compassion of Jesus Christ than by reaching out to the “less privilege ".

God cares about our attitudes toward and actions regarding the hungry, the oppressed, the widows, the strangers, and the orphans. I pray that God helping us to help the poor in our society, where people are lonely, suffering, and in great need. To give freely as an appreciation for all that christ has given to us at no charge.
