Outwitting the Devilish Mr. P

The husband went out on some errands after getting his "new" phone set up. It's quite amusing because we seem to have become our siblings' babies, lol! Sometime ago, my elder sister gave me her still new smartphone plus a tablet. This time, the husband got a "hand-me-down" phone from her sister. Yep, we are fortunate hehe and we're grateful of course.

Anyway, gardening was originally planned for today. Unfortunately, it's drizzly and so gusty so I'm now cooped up indoors. My weak bones just couldn't bear the cold outside. And while thinking about what to do besides keeping tabs of my commitment here in Hive, I got reminded of the devilish persona which I've been trying to outwit for a while. Do you happen to know Mr. P? You are awesome if you don't know him.

Procrastination (aka Mr. P)

Mr. P will always be happy when we make him our friend and I was kind of guilty letting him in here at home the past few days. At some point, he befriended me so well that he kept me away from completing my to-do's on some days. I'm just happy that I won against him yesterday and so laundry was finally done.

It's just funny how little excuses can make Mr. P grow. When we give in to his invitations, we are letting him win. We are feeding him, making him grow and before we know it, he'd grown a giant and it becomes harder for us to shake him off unless we become so intentional about winning our productive selves back.

This made me wonder, do you ever struggle to keep him off from your life or there's no sign of him at all in your home?
