Tenía pendiente ver esta película desde hace casi 1 mes y lo había demorado porque no le daba mucho crédito o interés, a pesar de ser una película navideña, no estaba al 100% seguro de que tan buena iba a ser, pero ayer decidí verla tan pronto tuve el tiempo disponible.

I had been waiting to see this movie for almost 1 month and I had delayed it because it didn't give it much credit or interest, despite being a Christmas movie, I wasn't 100% sure how good it was going to be, but yesterday I decided to see it so I soon had the time available.

Conforme iba transcurriendo la película, le iba dando una oportunidad para ver con que iban a salir y la verdad me pareció buena, era lo que esperaba pero no era lo que esperaba, no sé si me entienden, igual pude verla completa y por eso hoy quiero compartirla con ustedes.

As the movie went on, I gave them an opportunity to see what they were going to come out with and the truth seemed good to me, it was what I expected but it was not what I expected, I don't know if you understand me, I was still able to see it in its entirety and that's why today I want to share it with you.

Spirited es una película navideña estrenada este año en el mes de Noviembre por Apple Original Films, narra la vida de Clint Briggs, un hombre que carece de todo lo que corresponde a empatía hacia otros y por ende, es seleccionado por el equipo de "espíritus de la navidad" para intentar ser transformado como ser humano y pasar de ser un caso "irremediable" a remediable.

Spirited is a Christmas movie released this year in November by Apple Original Films, it tells the life of Clint Briggs, a man who lacks everything that corresponds to empathy towards others and therefore, he is selected by the team of "Christmas spirits" to try to be transformed as a human being and go from being a "irremediable" case to a remediable one.

La película es una adaptación de la novela original de 1843 de "A Christmas Carol", escrita por Charles Dickens, pero llevada a una versión más moderna. En ella, se mantiene la esencia de la novela original pero se añaden algunos detalles extras con el fin de adaptarlo para atraer a una audiencia más moderna.

La película es un musical navideño con comedia, yo desconocía que iba a haber tanta música involucrada, más que nada porque desconocía que Ryan Reynolds pudiera sostener una nota, lo cual hizo bastante bien a mi parecer, no es un gran cantante y creo que lo sabe pero si fue suficiente para convencer, esa fue mi primera sorpresa con respecto al film.

The movie is a Christmas musical with comedy, I didn't know that there was going to be so much music involved, mostly because I didn't know that Ryan Reynolds could hold a note, which he did pretty well in my opinion, not a great singer and I think you know it but if it was enough to convince, that was my first surprise regarding the film.

Will Ferrell es un monstruo de la actuación. El hombre canta, actúa y baila, y aunque tampoco es una actor de Broadway, siempre acierta cuando se trata de involucrar estos 3 aspectos, a mi parecer. Además, el toque de comedia que añade a cada personaje creo que lo hace único en sus interpretaciones; en este caso no fue tan excesivo como en otros, eso me gustó porque se dio más la oportunidad de verle actuar, aunque nunca falta el toque característico que solo él tiene.

Will Ferrell is an acting monster. The man sings, acts, and dances, and while he's not a Broadway actor either, he always gets it right when it comes to involving all 3 aspects, in my opinion. Also, the touch of comedy that he adds to each character I think makes him unique in his interpretations; In this case it was not as excessive as in others, I liked that because there was more opportunity to see him act, although he never lacks the characteristic touch that only he has.

No sabía quienes participaban en la película como parte del cast, así que cuando vi a Octavia Spencer, me quedé para verla actuar, la mujer es sutil en su actuar y me llevé una grata sorpresa al escucharla cantar por primera vez, tuvo bastante participación y me gustó mucho verla durante todo el film, no de forma forzada sino bien orgánica y con un propósito dentro de la narrativa del film y las historias a su alrededor.

I didn't know who was in the movie as part of the cast, so when I saw Octavia Spencer, I stayed to see her perform, the woman is subtle in her acting and I was pleasantly surprised to hear her sing for the first time. Once, she had a lot of participation and I really liked seeing her throughout the film, not in a forced way but rather organically and with a purpose within the narrative of the film and the stories around it.

Como dije anteriormente, la película es un musical y con respecto a la banda sonora debo aplaudirles porque todo el trabajo musical fue un verdadero espectáculo, no hay nada que se le pueda señalar que hayan hecho mal o no haya gustado, creo que es la única película navideña hasta ahora que para mi, tiene la mejor banda sonora, es un regalo escuchar cada canción y cada melodía durante toda la película.

As I said before, the film is a musical and with respect to the soundtrack I must applaud them because all the musical work was a true spectacle, there is nothing that can be pointed out that they did wrong or they did not like it, I think it is the only one Christmas movie so far that for me, has the best soundtrack, it is a gift to listen to each song and each melody throughout the film.

El presupuesto de $75 millones de dólares está bien justificado. La cantidad de efectos especiales fue la justa y necesaria para la película, todo el trabajo de los departamentos de arte merecen ser aplaudidos porque en todos hubo mucho que resaltar, además, contaron con un gran presupuesto y eso se vio en cada minuto de la película.

The $75 million budget is well justified. The amount of special effects was just and necessary for the film, all the work of the art departments deserves to be applauded because there was a lot to highlight in all of them, in addition, they had a large budget and that was seen in every minute of the film .

La historia en general es bastante buena, el final es diferente, eso es seguro y creo que fue un acierto el haberlo modificado, deja un mensaje aún más claro que el que se ha visto en otras adaptaciones de esta famosa novela. Algunos momentos de comedia me tomaron por sorpresa y otros era predecibles pero sin duda graciosos pero cuando se tornaba más serio en algún momento de la película, casi podía ver que no se trataba del mismo film.

The story in general is quite good, the ending is different, that's for sure, and I think it was a good idea to have modified it, it leaves an even clearer message than what has been seen in other adaptations of this famous novel. Some moments of comedy took me by surprise and others were predictable but definitely funny but when it got more serious at some point in the movie, I could almost tell that it wasn't the same movie.

La película, por mi parte, está muy recomendada para ver. Más allá de que sea navideña, creo que tiene bastante que rescatar pero si no eres fan de los musicales, te sugiero que no entres a verla, aunque desde el primer número musical te puedo asegurar que tratan bastante bien el hecho de que es un musical y que estos son bastante fastidiosos de ver, hacen burla a los musicales y sus canciones de una forma cómica y para nada seria.

The film, for my part, is highly recommended to see. Beyond the fact that it's Christmas, I think it has a lot to salvage but if you're not a fan of musicals, I suggest you don't go to see it, although from the first musical number I can assure you that they treat the fact that it's a musical quite well. and that these are quite annoying to watch, they make fun of musicals and their songs in a comical and not at all serious way.

De esta temporada navideña de película, creo que la única que volvería a ver sería esta, hasta el momento, tiene bastante a favor y creo que puede ser una elección para ver en cualquier otro momento durante estas fechas.

Of this Christmas movie season, I think that the only one that I would see again would be this one, so far, it has a lot going for it and I think it can be a choice to see at any other time during these dates.
