THIS LIFE
A young child woke up one morning and asked his dad "Dad why do you always want me to do what you want? it's my life to live not yours
The child said to his Dad you have lived your life the way you want, you have taken decisions that made you who you are today, so why won't you let me decide for myself?
The father said; my child i am only trying to give you what i think is best for you
The child said; Father
In a world of so many voices
In a world where everyone is talking
In a world where everyone wants me to do what they want
In a world full of insatiable desires of men
In a world where men wants to impose their desires on the innocent me how will i learn to stand up for myself
When will i learn to decide for myself
How do i survive this world when i leave you to taking all decisions for me
How will i grow through and be strong even when you are not there
How will i discover myself and find my potential
This story explains the reasons for having fully grown men in the society today that are indecisive
In the world today,there are people who are still hiding in their shell
There are people who are not sure of what to do
There are men still in question of finding themselves
There are men in question of discovering their potential
It all doesn't end in school and it also doesn't start from school
There are things school won't teach directly but you learn it while in school
There are experiences that you will never have if you don't go through some certain stages in life
This world is a world where you have to stand true to what you know
This world is a world to stand firm on what you know
This world is a world to hold fast to what you have
Some blame their parents for what their life turned out to be today and some bless their parents
As a growing child there are things you don't learn in class you learn by observation
Life will throw you stones
This life is not balance
Some experienced life on the harsh side while some experience life on a platter of God
What will be the drive and the motivation for this two categories of people will be completely different
This life is full of unfairness
This life is full of good and bad
Everything that comes your way will not be always good
That's why you need to train yourself to be strong and resilient
Train your children to be strong and resilient, this ones live their life with what they have learnt as the basics
This world keeps evolving, new problem keeps arising often
The role of guidance in parenting is important but never neglect the role of letting children evaluate options critically
Let a child think critically to solve a problem
Parenting is not just about protecting a child but it involves preparing them for the complexities of life
As my pastor will always say
Grow through where you are going through and not just groan through
Process have results
Trust the results by following the process
