Silly things I did when I joined Hive newly

Today while at work, something came up and I remembered my first days on Hive and I couldn’t help but laugh out loud and hard that Kelvin my colleague came closer, he placed his hand on my forehead to see if I was okay or having a fever, looking at me closely he concluded that I was under the influence.

Let me share with you all what happened during my first days on Hive.

To start with I followed up to 170 users on my first day; after publishing my introduction post as was instructed by my onboarder, I went offline to attend to my life, and within that period, I was praying for upvotes as a welcome note and motivation to be active as my onboarder prior to my joining Hive had told me how he made cool cash.

After some hours I log in to Hive to see 99+ beaming on my notification bar. I hurriedly clicked and I met the biggest shock, I had earned 40 Hives, and 230 members teamed up to give me that, smiling sheepishly I said to myself;

"They must love me so much, I must secure these people, I can't let them go, I need them forever!"

The Johny just come in me triggered me and I began to follow them one after the other, thinking they were actual people who read my post, I never knew that the majority of them were part of a curation trail, I was so serious about it that I was glued to my phone for about an hour. If not that my data got exhausted, I would have followed all 230 of them, but I ended up with 200 plus.

Moreso, checking for upvotes every second was my forte back then.
I'm not into football but I have a lot of male friends that can skip their meals for football, especially Kelvin my colleague. It was Kelvin who made me know about the website called LiveScore where he visits every 0.1 seconds to check scores of ongoing matches to be sure he wins all the bets he placed.

I adopted this habit of Kelvin’s during my first days here. Once I publish an article, my whole being becomes restless. I don't leave the blockchain, I'll keep refreshing every 0.001secs to see if I've been upvoted, and funny enough, those times were like "the more you look, the less you see", and each time I didn't get anything I hissed.
If I mistakenly go away, maybe I was called to attend to work, I would do the work so fast in order to check back if I had millions of dollars waiting for me on my post. It's not like these days we publish and leave it for God to decide.

Also, I remember when I first received a PIZZA from someone here, I was so excited and I ran to tell my sisters that I had just received a pizza from someone in another country and my sisters were surprised and happy for me and the next thing they asked was how the Pizza was going to get to me that was when I ran to my onboarder to share the good news with him only for homeboy to laugh at me, I stood there like a complete idiot watching my friend laugh his ass out before explaining.

When I got a beer for the first time I hissed and said to myself “You ain’t real bro!” home girl was wiser this time.

I became a stalker, I kept on stalking my own wallet, I was checking every minute to see how much was transferred to my wallet, and when there was no addition, I would get pissed, and refresh again and again or was it the time when I said I was done with Hive and my onboarder slid into my DM and asked if my creative well had run dry.

Editing my post was torture as I would read my post over and again, I would read it out loud while tapping my thigh alongside in rhythm, I would be so serious that before I hit the publish button I would be dehydrated and exhausted.

Thinking about all of these and writing this post now, made me laugh really hard, the fact that Homegirl has grown past all of these crazy antics is so sweet, I celebrate growth guys!!
